It is in a very central location. Giovanni was very helpful and took me to the nearest train station by car when my bus failed to turn up.

The room was quite big, clean, quiet and nicely chilled. This old and impressive former monastery is placed next to Ugento castle and city centre. Furthermore, it is really easy to reach every location in Salento in a maximum of 35/45 min. The host was welcoming, sociable and ready to help. He kindly showed us around the beautiful building architectures while sharing the story and past of it.

Let’s say that the bathroom is not the highlight of the room. Slightly small and old-fashioned, but clean and pretty functional. Anyway, it is not a huge deal, I lived comfortably in my three days stay. In general, there might be some small improvements to enhance the property functionality and the guest stay. The owner has been very appreciative of some feedback given, and I feel he is honesty interested to develop the property experience and how to improve the guest stay.

I am in love with period homes and this was exceptional. Very spacious and comfortable. The host was very knowledgeable and keen to share useful information with us! I would definitely recommend this B&B to people who share love for architecture and to detox from hustle and bustle of the city
