Great location and very peaceful. It’s close to the path but set back, it’s far away from other houses so it felt very private. It’s right in the middle between the sharc and the park so it was great to send our kids too on their own.

Reviewer Comments: I've stayed in many Sunriver rentals and I would not stay in this house again. The beds were all very uncomfortable with old mattresses. The kitchen was not well stocked and every frying pan in the cupboard was dirty with broken handles. If you stay here in the summer I would highly recommend adding a portable A/C unit to your rental. We were there during 85-90 degree days and the house got pretty warm mid-day so the portable unit was very helpful. The two bikes on site are very old cruiser bikes that aren't easy to ride. The BBQ was very dirty with no cleaning brush. The family room area is a nice size and the couch was very comfortable.

The house is in a great location - near the SHARC and Village. We will definitely come back!

We were surprised to not have AC, but it wasn't advertised and we were fine in the end, despite the 100 degree temps. One stove burner didn't work and there was nothing to light the grill with... but those were easily solved or worked around. Staff was exceptionally responsive and helped us get in an hour early and brought us extra fans.

This was a perfect location - very close to SHARC & the village but not off a main path so not a ton of walk/bike traffic. Great deck that seemed private, even though we had neighbors. Kitchen was well stocked and lots of beach towels. Nice to have access to the garage to store personal bikes and extra frig in the garage was a bonus. The bunk room has two bunks but it small - we thought we could fit 2/13 yr olds & 2/17yr olds but would have been too crowded. Would have been nice if a bike lock came with the house bikes. Great house, we would rent again.

This is a great house for a weekend getaway! Loved the wooded area and the close proximity to the walking/bike paths. Very clean and well stocked house (with the exception of the chipped plates but I understand that's the owners responsibility). We enjoyed the puzzles, games, and updated smart TVs in each bedroom. The hot tub was clean and perfect for those chilly nights. I would highly recommend this house.

Our stay at the property was exactly what we expected from the booking online. We needed to book a quick trip during the spring break on a short notice and this property delivered. Great communication with the management property, hot tub, fireplace with stocked up wood and cozy living room were wonderful. I agree with other reviewers that kitchen could be better equipped as far as plates, serving dishes and we also couldn’t find the grilling tools. Our two boys liked the bunk beds and our bed was comfortable as well. Overall, I would recommend this property as we felt it was a great value.

However it was surprising this home is offered to the public given it's current state. It would make sense for a longtime family place but not a professional rental at $550 a night (more than what we've paid in Hawaii). Specific items that could be improved quickly and relatively cheaply include: evicting mouse under kitchen sink, cleaning/replacing filthy carpets, replacing the very old kitchen broom, providing cleaning spray, replacing dishes and silverware that appear to be from the 70s (50 years old!!!) with chips and sharp edges, improving lighting in the bedrooms (at night it was nearly impossible to see in the closets) with a floor lamp and making sure light bulbs are working (three were out), fixing the hazardous hole in the deck right in front of the patio door, providing fresh spare blankets (again these appear to be 50 years old), replacing the life jackets in the garage (very old), proving more cutting boards (only 1), and providing sharper knives (these were extremely dull). Also given the high costs to rent this place, visitors are likely to expect working smart TVs. The main floor TV didn't have any apps, and we were limited to basic cables channels. Costco sells TVs for less than $200 and there is already internet at the home so this seems like an easy upgrade/amenity. Also, the bunk bed room felt dangerous for our small children. The four lights installed right by the pillows got extremely hot and there was no top rail on the top bunks to keep kids from falling out. We had to move a mattress on the floor to keep one kiddo safe. Again, this home has a fantastic location and lots of potential but for what we paid, the owner needs to invest in improvements for safety and quality.

This property was great for a family of all ages. Close to Fort Rock park, floating on the river, and going to the SHARC.

We really liked the property - updated kitchen and bathrooms. Location great. We had several problems on arrival - bike with flat tire, cable not working so we couldn't watch the Olympics, broken cabinet, no way to lock hot tub. The property managers were great and fixed things in a timely way, but we couldn't give a 5 star rating due to all the fix it visits!

We enjoyed celebrating a family birthday together at the property. It was a quick bike ride to the SHARC and we appreciated having 8 passes to use.

We had a great time with a party of 10 (7 adults and 3 kids). The house was clean and roomy enough most of the time. We could have used some folding chairs so we could sit around the table together. Also some additional light in the rooms would be nice as it is quite dark. But amenities were great and property management quickly answered questions. Would stay again

As per other reviews, this home REALLY needs to up their kitchen supplies. If this home had a new set of pots, skillets, knives, and other cooking items it would be fully worth the rental cost. Otherwise, I'd suggest bringing some sharp knives and a skillet from home.

The location is amazing as others have mentioned. Walking distance to the SHARC is 5 minutes and the village is 25 minutes.

The house is really well laid out as well, and contains sounds well if you have people sleeping in the bedrooms.

My only feedback is that the bunk room beds are pretty thin. Completely fine for younger kids, but older kids or adults will be uncomfortable.
