Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend und außerdem überaus freundlich. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkünfte sind klasse. Die Lage ist etwas abseits. Transfer nach Ubud wird Angeboten bzw. wurde sofort organisiert. Das Personal hat einem alle Wünsche erfüllt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant waren sehr lecker. Der Ausblick v. Restaurant ist sehr schön.
Kleinigkeiten. U.a. ist das Bad ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Mit ein paar Eimer Farbe würde die Sache ganz anders aussehen. Auch die Handtücher waren nicht mehr die neuesten. Da sollte man doch ein bisschen Geld in die Hand nehmen.

Everything was very nice, staff very helpful and kind, size of the villa pretty big and clean, very nice view and swimming pool. Great food breakfast, lunch, dinner.
There are some things which are outdated and have to be changed/refurbished, but I don t consider this a major issue.

our trip started so well with Gusman picking us from the airport with a twinkle in his eyes and a hearty laugh. all the staff at Griya Shanti were exceptionally helpful and warm, making our stay so comfortable. a special shout out to Sintya, Widi and Ratna for going out of their way to bring us ginger tea when we fell sick and purchase our sarongs outside of their working hours. they made our trip truly memorable. thank you to Bella and Dian as well, we will be back!

The location not so crowded, so no traffic, easy for those who drive
The bathroom is too nature, have plants on the wall so lots of insects inside so when taking shower a bit uncomfortable.

there are not too many options in Ubud for a villa for 4 people. Surrounded by nature and tranquility. private pool.
exceptional service ans staff. transfers to Ubud and back compensated the distance.
maybe sliding doors in our villa need some adjustment - closing/opening made a noise.

The staff were courteous and accomodating. The facilities are ok for a small family or couples to stay. The villa is in a quiet region and away from the city side. Very rustic look and peaceful surroundings.
The breakfast menu could change or have an alternative set for somedays of the week. The rest are well managed.

This was our favourite accommodation in Bali. The villa is incredible the staff are amazing. We had the most amazing Breakfast and traditional dinner our waitress Widi was so lovely. Our stay ended with an incredible massage. Perfect place.

The only thing that lets this property down is poor food quality, but there are two brilliant restaurants across the road that we really enjoyed visiting and it's not too far from Ubud where there are many food options

We loved our stay here. The staff were exceptional and we were welcomed with a traditional blessing and a refreshing coconut drink. During our stay we had access to a driver at short notice and made use of the free shuttle into central Ubud.
We also had complimentary massages and a dinner. The rooms were cleaned daily to an excellent standard and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The pool
was beautiful but unfortunately we all reacted to something that was in the water- too much chlorine or something as it made us sting and get a rash.

Having an amazing cafe/restaurant down the road. Having a short cut to get out. Quiet and good facilities. Beds comfy. Pool was great. Pendopo next to pool was awesome!

The service was exceptional. We were hosted with utmost care and warmth, and we felt very welcome. The villa and private pool is excellent and Griya Shanti stands out with their thoughtful touches.
The complimentary afternoon tea and snacks by our pool - blissful. They taught us how to make the Balinese offering baskets you see everywhere in Bali - very cool. We even had mosquito repellant lotion in the bathroom!
We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
- they have a good breakfast and room service selection, but the food isn’t anything to shout about. Could be more flavourful, and perhaps a spice level option for guests. Still, we ate dinner in our rooms both nights (the pool villa was too blissful!) They did suggest good restaurants easily within walking distance.
- credit card payment incurs additional 3% charge. I was quite surprised by this, and wished we knew earlier.

Ambience is exceptional. Staff are beautiful and courteous. Villa with infinity pool is amazing.
There was a restaurant close by and within a 2 minute walk but the menu was limited.

Top resort. Surrounded by jungle and ricefields. The villa's are clean and comfortable with a great private pool. The restaurant serves delicious meals. We had a wonderful massage given by Mini. Many thanks to the owner Pak Bagus, mrs Dian, and the whole staff for the amazing days and your hospitality during our stay. Your villa's are highly recommended. We will come back later again.

We stayed at Griya for 5 days.. ALL the staff was very helpful, friendly and kind. They made our accommodation a great experience -taking into consideration- it was our first time in Bali! The room was always clean and assistance was provided 24/7. We definitely recommend this property for your stay in Ubud, it’s also quiet and relaxing. The most special of them all..Dian!! a real gem and a great hostess!

Pillows and bed were comfortable. The spa massage was very good.
The villa is old and a bit run down. The toilet seat gets wet when it rains which is not comfortable in middle of the night because if open roof. There were no plug points at all in the room which is very inconvenient for phone and device charging. The open kitchen is not good and open walkway between rooms not good when it rains. The main door cannot even be latched. The place needs a lot of upgrading.

Umm .. must be prepared for lots of mozzies, lizards etc. Definitely need a car to travel out. Otherwise it was a nice experience!
