We stayed at Snipelands for 2 nights at the end of September 2023, in the Flaxley (Double) Room. We were visiting friends in Nailsea and had been finding it very difficult to find good quality and reasonably priced accommodation in that area, so were very pleased to come across Snipelands. It was easy to get in touch with Anne by email and phone before our stay, and we had no problems finding the B&B when we arrived. Anne gave us a warm welcome and we particularly appreciated the information that she gave us about operating the shower and front door. The room was an excellent size, with everything we needed for a short break. As others have noted, the tea and coffee tray was one of the best we’ve ever seen in a B&B! The bathroom was also an excellent size with the shower being particularly good. We very much liked the rural location - it was very quiet at night, and we enjoyed watching the cows while we had breakfast (which was also excellent). All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay at Snipelands and would certainly consider staying there again in future.

Very helpful staff. The owner was just amazing and let us feel really at home. She even did some sandwiches for us as we had an early flight and couldn't have breakfast. The room was clean and cosy. Fabulous!

It's a small B&B in the beautiful countryside near Bristol (there were even chickens!). Our host, Anne, was lovely and really went the extra mile to help us have a great stay, plus gave us some good local knowledge. The breakfast was really excellent, probably one of the best I have ever had at a B&B. Room was clean and the décor was nice. Free parking a good bonus.

Exactly what we wanted. We wanted to book a good, old-fashioned bed and breakfast and Snipelands exceeded our expectations. The rooms are large and comfortable with excellent en-suites. The breakfast is incredible, individually tailored, three course, don't plan on needing lunch! Ann is very friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend others to do so.

Anne is wonderful company, friendly and attentive. The room had everything we needed. Towels, refreshments, wonderful breaky with home made jam and local honey, Anne's hens eggs. Easy to find. Parking easy, plenty of hot water, big TV. Lots of space.

I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and homely. The breakfasts offer a wide variety for you to pick and the time is your choice too. The room had all facilities and the chocolates were naughty but nice. The bathroom had every facility with a good strong but adjustable shower. I enjoyed my short stay and will return when in the area again.

So conveniently we were only 12 minutes drive from Bristol city center where we were going to a concert in the cathedral. Attention to details and taking care of everything: the skin of the roast tomatoes of our English breakfast were removed! I think it says it all. The lovely local pub is just around the corner which was a great bonus. Would love to stay there again.

Spent two nights in this lovely B&B. Anne is a wonderful landlady who is extremely thoughtful and helpful. Top recommendations (and menus!) for places to eat in the evenings: booked a table for me last minute as well! Place is nice and quiet at night. Room very clean and comfortable; nice big bathroom with powerful shower. Very easy parking. Exceptional breakfast including delicious homemade jam and local honey. Alex Polizzi would give five stars. Highly recommended to ask Anne about the Bevin Boys and the local woodpeckers!

Anne is a lovely lady that can’t do enough for you! It was like visiting a relative - she is so welcoming! Breakfast was exceptional, very filling, delicious and plentiful. Room is very clean with tea/coffee facilities and lovely powerful shower. Will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area again!
