I've been staying here on work trips a few nights every 6 weeks since Feb 2024. It has been refurbished in that time from a quiet clean basic hotel to a wonderfully refurbished hotel. New comfortable beds, themed rooms and a great games room. Justin the owner is friendly and really goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome every time.

The changes made to the Acacia since I last stayed are beyond impressive. The themed rooms continue to just get better. The cleanliness and bed comfort are top notch. But the new games room is unbelievable. Not only is it reminiscent of the 1980's, but all the games are included in your room cost. I was impressed the room cost is the same price as my previous stay, but the new included facilities add a whole new dimension to the trip. They have thought of everything including a dining table like a giant record to enjoy your takeaway while you chill out and watch the huge TV. There's even a free to use water cooler to top up your bottles. The new paint job on the outside is very cool and retro. This motel is certainly the only one in Chinchilla to stay at if you're travelling for work.

The room was library themed and very comfortable. Justin had put a lot of thought into the features of the room. We also found Justin to be extremely helpful and friendly during our stay.

It is the little things that make your stay wonderful. Clean comfortable room. Very nice host who was extremely helpful.

Damage to some units that we were not notified about on the booking site. This made no difference to our stay.

Comfortable bed

Beautiful garden and outdoor area. Very well maintained outside area . Welcoming reception area with family pictures on view . Undercover parking in safe area. Owner very welcoming and let us check in early as we where exhausted from 3 days in the road . Prepared us an amazing home cooked meal which was delicious! Also prepared us a great breakfast - all delivered to our room . Great value and just what we needed after eating take out good for days . Went above and beyond to make us feel at home .
