Picturesque location, spotless on arrival, Christmas decorations were a nice touch, great selection of games provided, charming and helpful hosts.

Issues with the shower but our hosts kindly made the bathroom facilities in the main house available to us so it turned out to be a very minor inconvenience.

Cozy comfortable cottage with beautiful far reaching views across the valley. Spotlessly clean with plenty of activities toys and games for the kids and toasty logburner with free logs. All of which came in handy as we had to weather storm Eunice and Franklin during our stay! Lovely hosts and very friendly dogs.

Absolutely stunning place - a perfect winter get away for us, better equipped and bigger than anticipated and a fabulous bath!! Can’t fault it and would definitely look to spend longer in the summer. Great base to walk and explore.

Beautiful location to escape big town rush. Hosts were really friendly and our dobby had a lot of fun running around with their 3 dogs. Definitely would recommend this place for gateway.

Incredible location with such wonderful views and wildlife, beautiful house, friendly hosts, everything provided to a high standard, and 3 lovely dogs to make it even more perfect! So peaceful, just the place to recharge. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back. Thank you !

Really comfy and cosy with a beautiful view. Perfect to wind down for a few days if you are looking for peace and quiet. Hiking possibilities starting right at your door.

Beautiful cottage, very remote and peaceful location. Handy having a downstairs toilet and it has been decorated tastefully throughout. A lovely space the hosts have created for families and guests.

Had difficulties working the shower and because the water ran slowly from the taps, it took quite a long time to fill the bath. Other than that, no problems at all!

Absolutely beautiful location and a homely feel to it. Will definitely be coming back again and again. We were so sad to leave.

This is a perfect place to relax and unwind. The barn has everything you need for a comfortable stay ! It’s spotlessly clean, lots of family games, ping pong and snooker to play. Alternatively you can just enjoy the views with a glass of wine and bbq ( all is set for you outside). On a chilly night the wood burner giftware a the cosiest feeling. The owners dogs are amazing, so are the owners themselves: always there when you have a question and provide great recommendations for walks ! I would certainly like to come back one day !
