Peaceful.

Literally everything. The location is green and peaceful. Waking up to the bird song is priceless. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and super clean. Karleen and Dave have thought of and supplied everything you could need. From all you need for the perfect cuppa to shampoo/ conditioner and lush body wash. We thoroughly recommend Palmwoods Eco Retreat for a peaceful, comfortable and totally relaxing stay.

Felt like in the middle of the forest and also very quiet. Haven't stayed in a place quite like this before. It was a good experience. A bonus....we got fresh eggs!

We loved the privacy and location, we stayed with a 2 year old and loved the bush walk and wandering the property exploring. Wonderful cozy & clean cabin and loved the private bathroom facilities on the edge of the forest

Wayne was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. We did not order breakfast. The location is good.

The advertising states free wifi. There was no wifi signal to our cottage. The cottage we were allocated had an external outhouse toilet and shower up the hill. We experienced some cold wet weather which made using the outhouse more difficult with a 5 year old and a 4 year old, especially after daylight hours If we had known that we were going to an outhouse arrangement we would not have booked the property. There was no car parking adjacent to the cottage for convenience of unloading/loading our car. For the fee paid we have stayed in some excellent bush cabins with wildlife present. Wayne knew that we had little people when we booked. Maybe another one of his cottages would have been more suited to us

Great hosts. Wayne was particularly helpful in suggesting things to do. Margaret picked a bag of yummy mandarins from their tree for us (hubby's favourite). It was only a short drive to Montville and the little town of Palmwoods was a delight.

The composting toilet takes a bit of getting used to. However it was noted before the booking was made and is part of the lifestyle ethos of the cabins so no cause for complaint.

Gorgeous location and setting, very peaceful. Wayne and Margaret are great hosts that ensure you feel welcome

Such a beautiful tropical quiet location. Just what I needed. So tranquil even with the rain .

Breakfast was wonderful lots of choices and plenty of food. Our host was great very helpful and attention to detail. very relaxing place just what the doctor ordered. If you need a rest and some quiet peace in your life then this is the place to go, to recharge.

nothing really, the outside toilet can be a bit of a worry if your nervous about going out when its dark, but you can always wake your husband up to go with you, lol , that is what I did .
