Ruime villa met eigen zwembad en elke kamer een eigen badkmamer . Naar het centrum is 40 minuten lopen, dus hiervoor een taxi of scooter nemen.

In de beschrijving staat dat het ligt tussen de rijstvelden en palmbomen. Die hebben we hier niet gezien!. Dit was wel belangrijk in onze keuze om toch tussen de rijstvelden te verblijven. Helaas. Elk stukje natuur wordt opgeofferd voor nieuwe accomodaties. Er zijn dan ook veel bouwwerkzaamheden. De vijf sterren volgens Booking.com lijkt mij iets te veel.

Sotis is located about a 10 min walk/5 scooter/car ride from the main strip of Canguu, in a quiet street which was great. The villa was a 3 bedroom villa each with its own bathroom and was very spacious with a balcony, pool area, deck chairs and lounging gazebo. We loved the space of the living room especially for our baby to crawl around on. We liked that breakfast was organised each afternoon and delivered to our villa each day. We could choose from hot English/American breakfasts, pancakes or continental selections. The villa staff were friendly and helpful. Our phones in the room were disconnected so we had to walk to reception each time we needed to talk to them.

The bathrooms are very tired and worn. The grouting had mould, the tiles were stained and just needed a good face lift. Some of the amenities like towels were also in need of replacing as they were very tired looking. The villa staff were friendly and helpful. Once our water was cut off and they had someone come and fix it. The orientation of the villa meant the pool was in the shade most of the time, so the water was too cold for us to swim. A turn off for us was that by Day 2/3 the villa started smelling like sewer, mainly from the stairs and we think it was a water issue. All in all it was a fine villa, but is in need of some repair/renovation, especially the bathrooms. There are lots of villas in Canguu so we may try another one next time.

Het zwembad en de ligging. Als je de villa verlaat en naar buiten gaat ligt er aan je rechterhand een hele goede sportschool met wellness. Je moet wel entree betalen maar dat is het meer dan waard. Je kan daar ook pedellen. Als je verder loopt kom je in de hoofdstraat en daar heb je hele fijne eettenten. De ligging is wel heel goed.

Het ontbijt viel tegen, de keus was wat beperkter. De douche was niet schoon.

Everything was perfect, especially the hospitality. The check-in manager would contact you few days in advance to ensure smooth check-in. Upon check in, check-out and any request during the stay the staff were helpful and responsive.

It's not a big deal, but we would expect the amenities in the bathroom to be replenished every time the room is cleaned. We had to call the receptionist to ask for extra as the ones from the previous days were finished. All in all, the staff will cater our requests swiftly.

I loved the pool and amount of privacy of the Villa. Staff was very responsive and friendly. If I make it back to Bali we I will hands down stay at Sotis Villas again and bring my family!
