this property is lovely. right on the water with an amazing reef in front to walk straight into. It is well equipped in the kitchen and we were very able to cook all meals. excellent showers etc good laundry. very tastefully decorated and very comfortable to be in. we loved being here. The concierge Alice was very helpful and flexible with check in and out times which we greatly appreciated

The second bedroom is up extremely steep stairs with an unsafe hand rail. this made access very difficult. it has no windows but air conditioning. it is nowhere near as nice as the main bedroom. a window would improve this. Be aware that the noise of traffic, fighting dogs and bloody roosters will disturb your sleep every night!!

Loved the location and the view from the back porch. Loved that the caretaker's dogs, which are very friendly, are trained to wait at the door for people to interact with them. Very comfortable patio furniture.

Could not take advantage of the cross breeze in the main living space because there are no screen doors on the sliding glass doors so all of the mosquitoes and nonos were a problem every day of our stay...not sure how the bugs are during other times of the year. The caretaker did provide repellant devices but they were not effective enough. Only A/C in the bedrooms. Would have preferred a unit in the main living space as well. It would have been a lovely gesture to have provided a lite breakfast...especially since we arrived early afternoon Sunday and the Moorea supermarkets and restuarants close very early on Sundays.

This is really a lovely spot! We loved the snorkeling and kayaking and the overall comfort.

The villa was wonderful and so beautifully built and decorated!! Only downfall is the traffic noise right outside. Despite that I would highly recommend it! Just take earplugs. Alix met us at the gate as we were unable to get all the online info finished. Just gave her a call. She was great!!

Just all the traffic noise. With air conditioning in the bedrooms and ear plugs it was fine. The grounds were well taken care of as was the villa. Watch for the coconut crabs in the yard. They pretty much come out at dusk and night. If you have fruit peelings or vegetables..they love it. Always gone in the morning!

Our family of 4 from CA spent 9 magical days in Moorea in Nov 2020 and loved the villa at Robinson's Cove. The location and view is out of this world and the villa suited us perfectly. The snorkeling right outside was fantastic and we loved the deck and the hammock. We also rented the car that the property offered which was easy and worked out well. Communication prior to the stay was excellent with tons of information and helpful recommendations for various activities (we used the Moorea Blue Diving Center for our diving trips and Moorea Activity Center for ATV and Jet ski tour and had outstanding A+ experiences with both shops). All in all, our whole family fell in love with Moorea (so beautiful), its people (so nice and positive) and had the best stay! It was hard to leave.. 😕Also, the COVID test that is currently required during the stay was super easy, took just a couple of minutes, and was subsequently handed off to the property manager. Easy breezy! In my opinion this villa is perfect for families or couples that are used to travel and that enjoy staying "outside of the resorts".. if you are the kind of person that typically choose to spend vacations at Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton you may find the Villa Wallis a bit too rustic and it may not be the perfect fit.. for example, there are friendly geckos that share the house (in our opinion that added to the charm), you may get a few mosquito bites while enjoying the deck (who cares, bring some anti itch cream), the living room gets hot during the day with no AC (didn't bother us since we spent the days in the water or exploring the island and it cools down at night... plus the master bedroom has AC that works great), the Wifi is spotty (you are on vacation so why let it bother.. read a book instead) and the neighborhood rooster calls a loud good morning at 5am (bring a sleep sound). For us the Villa Wallis was the perfect fit and we would choose the villa over any 5 star resort any...

The romantic island vibe of Villa Wallis was perfect! We loved the villa's authentic polynesian feel, the view, the privacy, and the homely feel of it. It felt like home on the very first night. It is incredibly well provisioned - there was nothing extra we could have wished for. The car we hired through the villa was perfect, and the covered boat we hired through them was magical to go and see the stingrays and reef sharks at our own pace. The view is divine - you are looking out at the same scenery that greeted the crews of the Endeavour and the Bounty. It was so nice to be on our own and not in a resort. The manager Alix was on hand to attend to any of our queries. We loved Villa Wallis and didn't want to leave. It is the most common comment in the guest book!
