Excellent appartment. Very clean and comfortable. Whilst we didn't cook, it was very well equipped and would have been fine for a few days/ a week's stay. The hosts are very friendly and keen to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Nice home made scones to greet you as well as milk and jam in the fridge. Very nice views from the appartment and gorgeous at night when the quiet and the absence of light gives you a superb view of the stars. About 10/15 mins walk into the village of PortMagee where there are 2 great restaurants--The Moorings was particularly good. Loads of boat trips on offer to the Skelligs and beautiful walks on the Kerry Cliffs and on Valentia Island make this a great place to stay. A torch is handy for the walk into the village on an evening but the host even offers to pick you up if you don't fancy walking back! How about that for service?! We found this appartment good value compared to others where we stayed and I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Extremely welcoming hosts, immaculate apartment and good location.

Although only a 10 min walk into Portage it was partly on a road with no pavement or verge.

Very good location, within walking distance of the village. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Friendly hist who gave recommendations as to where to eat and what to do.

The apartment was small but very nice and had everything that we needed, including an excellent stove (cooktop). The hosts were very nice and helpful. The scones provided by the host were much appreciated.

The bed was quite soft and not great for someone with back problems. The host said that it would be changed.

It was great to have a well equipped kitchen available with relaxation area.

absolutely not a single thing

Greeted upon arrival by Bridget, who was very welcoming. The apartment is self contained, immaculate and lots of extra treats (Gunniess, Irish Tayto crisps & homemade scones to name but a few). The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom has a walk in shower. Our host, Bridget, was attentive and give us some tips. The location is perfect for a stop along the Ring of Kerry with easy access to some fantastic sights! Thank you. Will be back again! 💚

The owner is a pretty lovely lady. Helped whenever she could and even hat some things in the fridge for us plus some scones. Just 2 minutes from the actual village and not far to Cahersiveen. Even a visitor was no problem.

The bed was too soft for our liking. It's not for people with back pain.

Self catering.

As there was no sittingroom, the kitchen was rather cramped. Viewing the wall-mounted television from the 2 upright armchairs was a little uncomfortable. As this was a December visit, we were indoors more than in summer.

Wonderful host who made us feel right at home. Welcomed us on arrival and showed us around. Provided us with a lovely breakfast of scones and jam.

The owner was plaited and friendly. Offer to drives to town and booked the local restaurant for us.

Nothing to not like

The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. After driving for 5 hours it was lovely to arrive to home made brown bread and chocolate biscuits. They also gave me great advice on the best places to visit. I would recommend Lative to all my friends

I loved it all.

Everything. Bridget & her husband very welcoming, helpful & were available if needed. Accommodation was spotless, comfortable & very suitable for a couple. Very convenient for touring to Valentia Island, Waterville, Derrynane etc.
