The owner speaks German slowly which made it easy for me to understand;) she also agreed to host us even though we arrived later than 8pm. There were foods and drinks in the kitchen, everything was clean and it was very silent at the house.

Very nice pansion and room. I called the hostess on arrival and she explained how to get into the house, which was clear and easy. As it was winter, we expected to have heating in the room and in the bathroom, but the heating panels were cold, so we were very cold, especially in the bathroom. To sleep it was just ok, but the host should have indicate it in the discreption in Booking.com, that the heating will be turned off in the room and in the bathroom. Everything else is ok, we only had a short stay, only slept there 1 night.

Very nice place with perfect staff! I was little bit afraid of shared bathroom, but everything was perfect clean, room as well. The owner is very kind and she waited for us in spite of that time of check in has passed. I definitely recommend it for a sleepover.

Everything was perfect! The place was clean, reachable and the scenery is wonderful! There is a highway next to the house, but since the house is soundproof, it is not a thing to worry about! We saw 3 deers running through the field in front of the house, which was quite an experience! After dinner, you can also go for a late afternoon walk where you can watch the sunset and enjoy the peace.

We were satisfied with everything, there are no bad things about this place!

Nice rooms. We were happy that there is a kitchen and we could prepare a tea and use the fridge. Also there are outside window shades (Rolladen), which makes the rooms completely dark, which is a huge plus!

Nice breakfast room with everything you want and need. it s a perfect place as a stop over on a long trip. Very beautiful, but very remote. Car and navigation are a must! It s litterally of road on the bottom of a mountain. Beautiful though!

We stayed there from 21.00 evening till 7.00 morning. It was exactly what we needed for a reasonable price. I don’t like to share a bathroom, but that’s personal.

This Guesthouse is really lovely. It's a little off the beaten path, but still close enough to the highway. It is located in a quiet area with enough parking for all guests. The setup of the house itself was also good. We stayed on the upper floor. There were three guest rooms on this floor that shared one toilet and one shower. There was also a full size kitchen with appliances and utensils for all the guests to share and a small dining room for the breakfast. The rooms themselves are a little smaller (just a bed, shelves and a tv) but you didn't really need much more. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Everything about our stay at this guest house went very smoothly and you can tell that the hosts really care about making it a nice place for guests. As long as you are ok to share the bathroom with the other guests (we stayed 3 nights and rarely saw the other guests), it's really a nice little place to stay for a few nights.

We really liked the location of the house, the environment was beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern stuff, breakfast was complete and tasty.

The badroom mat could be a little tighter/harder.

This is a great little B&B. It's very clean, well kept and is very hygiene-aware (Covid19) e.g. there are sanitizer dispensers everywhere. Mr and Mrs Schaffer welcomed us warmly and were very relaxed. The B&B is located in a small (equestrian) community in a quiet, hilly area just out of Niklasdorf. I say quiet because even though it is near the A9 (freeway) it's almost impossible to hear any noise from it. I think the crickets are louder. Our room was on the second floor, a good size with plenty of cupboard and draw space. No carpet, of which I am in favour, and the bed was comfortable. A suitably-sized TV is fitted high on the wall for good viewing and, of course, free WiFi is available. The shared bathroom and toilet are modern and clean with the bathroom having both a shower and a jucuzzi. Liquid soap, hairdryer, ironing facilities can be found in one of the several bathroom cupboards. A continental breakfast is included but the very clean and well kept common kitchen, which is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher and double fridge, is also at your disposal on the proviso you clean up after yourselves. Coffee making facilities are available at any (reasonable) time. The breakfast/common room is small but adequate and there is a drinks fridge in this room where beer, wine and soft-drinks can be bought on an honesty-box basis. All in all, a very peaceful, restful area where I will overnight again.

We liked everything, however we do have as a suggestion. The night we stayed was unusually quite hot and although we opened the windows, we would have appreciated a ceiling fan maybe. This would be ideal for air circulation in both summer and winter. A small standing fan would have been okay but they tend to "wander" and need to be replaced.
