Great place to stay, great location. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and had a bonus inclosed outdoor area. A/C was great. The bottle of wine was a nice gesture.

Amazing price! Early check-in, fabulous extra bonus check- out time, thoughtful extras, perfect breakfast & scrummy eats. The decor-garden & surrounds were beautiful & plentiful-Sue congratulations on a most gorgeous setting. Your accomodation is stunning & very comfortable & we were so pleasantly surprised. We were sad to leave. You won't be disappointed-well worth a stay in the secret accomodation behind the high fence. Truly delightful!

The breakfast was fairly limited, and it was quite cramped for 3 people (only 2 chairs etc)

Location was great. The amenities were thoughtful and helpful for an overnight stay. Breakfast was great and Sue was so helpful in the lead up to our stay.

Property was delightful, with all the amenities you could wish for and in a great location. The owner could not have been more helpful. Breakfast supplies were plentiful and additional touches like cheese and fruit were very welcome.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable with a very soft mattress. As a couple who prefer more back support, we had poor nights of sleep. Better quality toilet paper would have been welcome.

It was very well set up, quite and peaceful.

Having to use the bathroom as a kitchen to get water, but over all I managed. Couldn’t get the gas heater working. Unable to charge my clients laptop or phone for some reason. The power points we’re working but wouldn’t charge.

This is a beautiful, historic house with fascinating antique furniture, ornaments and books, I loved the ultracomfortable bed and luxurious bathroom, plus the generous supplies for breakfast including fresh fruit. I also loved the excellent location, easy walking distance from the train station via a pub with some of the best restaurant quality meals I've ever had. And in the other direction, a relatively easy walk or short drive to the town centre and everything you need. Convenient parking available in the street.

I recommend making sure you stay in contact with the host and arrive when you can be shown around and have the facilities explained. I arrived a bit late because the train from Sydney was delayed and I couldn't find anyone to let me in at first. I was disappointed not to feel welcomed by my host as she was hurrying to go out, She had sent a message with instructions of how to get in but unfortunately I didn't get it til after I arrived. Once inside I couldn't find any instructions or guide to finding facilities - had to hunt around to work things out. Never worked out how come there were DVDs in a cupboard with no DVD player, and a CD player but no CDs? Food and crockery hidden away in cupboards with only washing place for crockery I could find was outside. Not so well set up for eating inside - and not the weather for eating outside!

The studio was absolutely beautiful. Every little detail had been thought through. Fantastic stay. Comfy bed, amazing sheets, everything you needed and great provided breakfast supplies.

Very comfortable and clean. The beddings were very comfy. The studio we stayed in exceeded our expectations. We stayed with 2 dogs and enjoyed our time there. Sue was very welcoming and was kind enough to allow us to have an earlier check in time.

Loved all the details! So cozy and thought through - the lovely breakfast spread, the luxury shower products, beautiful decor, and perfectly central location close to everything, but also super quiet.

Lots of thoughtful inclusions, spacious room, very comfortable bed, well fitted out kitchen, peace and quiet at night and excellent communication with the host. This is the best accommodation in avénala for a single or a couple.

there is no sofa bed in the main stay and the heater was difficult to light..but very minor feedback to what was really a lovely property.
