Gorgeous property, gardens and home. Just a very short walk to the beach. The hosts were so accommodating and tended to every need. Beautiful and delicious homemade breakfast every morning. Very good air condition. Refrigerator in room stocked with drinks.

From the WhatsApp sent to confirm the booking, the offer to be collected at the train station, parking available, beautiful set-up, rooms, friendly staff and really amazing breakfast with fruit salad, great coffee, kettle in the room with coffee/tea, it met all possible needs. It is a guesthouse experience as I would expect it and like to offer our guests. Walking distance to the train station and in the centre of a quiet town (in May). Perfect to enjoy an Italian town and pop into Cinque Terre as needed. The jacuzzi was a great bonus.
The place and hospitality were so great, that the "didn't likes" were bearable. It would depend why you visit Moneglia. If you plan to spend time at the guesthouse (I had to work one day), the surprise was the church bell right next door (8am - 8pm) and the train about 200/300m away.

Very comfortable place in a totally isolated town on the coast. It almost felt like being on an island and the property was just perfectly located WITH a parking where there seems to be no place to park. In short a gem. The price was a big higher than expected by rational insight of the offer. Elizabetta was super flexible on meeting us at a time that suited us.
I would have liked being told that one could hear the train (but not between 10PM and early AM) nor the church clock butt not after 10PM or before 8AM. Actually neither bothered us but I wold have liked to know.

Brilliant location to the centre, as well as being very quiet. Lovely, unique boutique hotel. Very warm, friendly owner who arranged taxis for us and responded quickly to any messages we sent. Good English spoken. Whats more, a lovely buffet breakfast with home made cakes, pastries, pancakes which could be eaten outside on the terrace or indoors. Good information about the local area and recommendations about restaurants. highly recommended

La Rocca Maison de Charme is an extraordinary and indeed a really charming B&B. As Moneglia is a small village, distances to the main street, restaurants, beach and railway station are short (only few minutes by feet).
The owners (Alice and Elisabetta) are very friendly and helpfully. The breakfast with fresh and homemade cakes, cookies, jams and fresh fruits is absolutely great.
Also Moneglia is a nice little village without party business and a good location for hiking tours along the coast or just relaxing at the sea. Cinque Terre is just 30 min by train and also Genua can be reached by train each hour.
The only downside is that the railway tracks are not far away. However, in particular in the night there are not so much trains passing so I have always slept undisturbed, even though I am quite sensitive to noise (so I only want to mention that without considering it as severe drawback).
I would give 11 points if that would be possible.

Very nice Bed and Breakfast . The owner is very gentle and helpful.Amazing breakfast we got every morning. We could choose on a menu what we want for breakfast.The room was very clean. The Bed and Beakfast is in a quiet area close to the pedestrain area.To the train station it takes 15 min. The hotel is close to a lot of restaurants.
If you want to visit Cinque Terre this is a good place to stay.

Very charming Bed & Breakfast in the center of Moneglia. We loved it there. The hosts are amazing, the breakfast is fabulous and the beautiful garden with the whirlpool is a quiet retreat of the City. The Beach as well as many restaurants, supermarkets and shops are within walking distance, which makes this B&B to a perfect mix between familiar and quiet accommodation but with all the benefits of an inner-city Hotel.

La Rocca is truly a wonderful property with a wonderful host. Everything is well provided for, nicely decorated, comfortably furnished. Probably fair to say I have not seen many so well looking B&Bs. You feel like in a fairytale house in the middle of a flower garden. Elisabetta is also a very gracious host, she organised our checkin efficiently and smoothly despite the short notice and prepared an absolutely delicious breakfast. Vegan too!
Absolutely no-one's fault, but the train passes very close to the house and we could hear it as if crossing our room. The windows are however pretty well isolated and earplugs did the trick - we slept like babies.
