The location is easily accessible from the train station. It was nice to have privacy for each bed space with the curtains. The lockers were spacious and locks were provided. The toilet and bath were clean. They also give a map with tips for hiking routes.

It was a little bit difficult/tricky to look for the check-in location but it is just the building right beside the gate

it's a great place, i am very happy about my stay. to start with the basics: the facilities such as berths were very good, with a curtain to close your own space lighted space. luggage cages were big enough, though bit squeeky which was causing some distress when opening them while others were sleeping. toilets sufficient, hostel is not too big. kitchen to cook, garden to hang around and meet people. certainly the biggest pro of this place is the social side of it: the hosts are very friendly, talkative, attentive , how else to put it. youll get the information you need about the meteora route and buses and bakeries etc and, and you can stay a little longer to chat about this and that if you like. (coffee in the bar/reception part, while putting the luggage into storage space) the place is open minded, people interact, talk to each other, play and get out together. it's not a forced must but a possibility. i highly recommend this to everybody whos on the go with eyes and mind opened.

The owner is very kind and helpful. The reception is at the bar so you can hang out and have a drink there. Nice common area, both inside and inside.

Excellent location. Located in the town center, walking distance to the train station and sklavenitis supermarket. The bunk bed is spacious with privacy curtain. Room is not cramped with too many beds therefore there's sufficient space to place your luggage. Towel is provided upon request. There's a common kitchen where you can prepare and have your meal. Basic condiments are available for free, there are also free stuff left by previous guest that you can use. There's also cute cats for companion as well :) Check in is at the restaurant next door. Showers and toilets are kept clean. Basic toiletries like body wash and shampoo are provided

Staff were very helpful and let you know exactly how and how long you would need to visit the monasteries. Beds were comfortable and location was good

Wifi didn’t work in the rooms. Also the cat outside kept coming in the kitchen area. Slightly expensive as well

Everything was just perfect. Nice and cosy hostel, comfortable common area, clean and bright bathrooms, etc. Friendly and helpful hostel owners. Wonderful balcony with the perfect view. There's even a cute ginger stray kitten with a loud voice coming to a kitchen's door to ask for a food or to lay down on you :) Definitely you should stay at this place!

One of the best hostels I've ever been to! Hostel owner is very caring and helpful. He does his job with love and care. It was very sweet of them to offer free towel service. Apart from that, it gives you a map and informs you about the route as much as possible. Thanks for everything.

I have stayed here before, always great and I like it there is a fantastic supermarket just across the street and mouthwatering bakeries nearby just down Trikalon. However it was never full. it gets frustratingly annoying really fast when the capacity is booked over 50% you are starting to feel like rats in a cage. I was unable to use the kitchen one single time because German hipsters insisted to cook carrot compote. Maybe you want to give the local guesthouses and bnb a try, there are so many of them in Kalambaka and Kastraki.

hostel beds with curtains for extra privacy (can make a hostel room less social, but you'll get some, you'll loose some), room and bathrooms were clean, there is a personal light switch and socket at each bed, big locker for your luggage under the beds, AC in the room (altough it wasn't used while I was there, since it was November), possibility to do your own laundry (4 Euro), social community area/kitchen, the hosts are very hospitable and give good information about meteora, supermarket is really close by (like a 2min walk), bus stop to meteora is also really close by (like a 3min walk) and also just a short walk from the train station (like 7 mins) - great location all around!

the 6 bed dorm was quite small which sometimes was a struggle with getting to your luggage (when a roomie wants to do so as well simultaneously), also the air was stuffy fast - especially over night which led to us rather sleeping with the window open, but the room was faced to a street so ear plugs are needed (!) otherwise it would have been too loud to sleep, the kitchen is small - you cannot cook while someone else is cooking (same goes for using the sink/washing your dishes), also there are 3 bathrooms for 3 Rooms upstairs so 16-18 people sharing 3 showers and 3 WCs (I had to wait a few times with using the bathroom, but usually not for too long)

Central location, close to train station and easy access to bus that goes up to the monasteries.

The streets were a little noisy though but can't be helped.
