Staff were welcoming and efficient. Dinner was delicious. The property is so beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, great setting with amazing views. Restaurant was very good, nice food and wine menu
Room was small but terrace great. Little wardrobe space and bed too firm.
Pool could be cleaner and they should heat it, no one would object to paying a little more. Live music was very good, pity it’s not on more often.

Amamos cada segundo que ficamos neste hotel. Estávamos em família e ficamos na casa de 3 quartos (Touriga). Excelente acomodação, com quartos confortáveis, cozinha completa, lareira, jogos de tabuleiro e cartas disponíveis.
O serviço do restaurante é muito bom tanto para café da manhã, quanto almoço e jantar. Tudo delicioso e comida maravilhosa.
Local é de muita paz e tudo é lindíssimo!
Excelente opção na Serra da Arrábida!

Such a wonderful place, it’s comfortable, ambience is chilled and staff exceptionally attentive!
Don’t have any problems with inclusion of children but just a noisy party with young children left without proper attention of parents - disrupting both in dining room and lounge. Somewhat spoilt full enjoyment of otherwise perfect evening.

The room was very comfortable with both a sitting area inside and a balcony overlooking the vineyard. The queen canopy bed was extremely comfortable with excellent pillows and linens. I also enjoyed the claw foot soaking tub in the very large bathroom. This room and hotel exceeded my expectations.
The hotel was renovating the kitchen so dinner was not available on 2 of my three night stays. This was quite disappointing as I did not want to travel into Setubal for my meals.

Huge private territory, own forest, vineyards. Many many beautiful cozy secluded places. Spirit of history and luxury everywhere. Perfect relax. Food.
Soundproofing can be improved - pipe noise from neighbors was noticeable (wc) and even wakes me up in the middle of the night once.

The attention and friendliness of all staff were exceptional. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and looked after. The food was also incredible, especially the roasted sea bream! Wow!

front desk staff are very friendly. we have been upgraded as we were travelling with our dog. the rooms are big and very confortable. there are two pools. the bar is a bit slow.
the restaurant is overrated. prices are too expensive. the staff recommends a wine from the vinard at 5-7€ the glass but the bottle is 3€ in the supermarket and not comming from the hotel vineyard. this was very dissapointing. they could just have been honest. The restaurant manager was always making critics to the staff in front of the customers. He always had something rude to say about his own staff wich made the diner unappreciable.

Breakfast and dinner were both great - breakfast was a buffet with lots of choices. Dinner was from a menu - again with lots of tasty choices. Joao - the Maitre de was exceptional and took great care of us.
The web site may be a little out of date as it stated there were shuttles from the Setubal train station and to the Lisbon airport. Instead there were non-hotel taxis.
