Prima appartement, goede keuken, met grote koel/vries kast en badkamer, alles netjes en hygienisch. Bed was redelijk. Het appartement ligt midden in het centrum, in het voetgangersgebied.

Het appartement ligt op de 3e verdieping, over een smalle trap naar boven, dus grote koffers is lastig. De sleutel moet je beneden in de drogist ophalen, waar ze ook een kopie van je paspoort maken voor de toeristenbelasting, die je apart contant moet afrekenen.

This is a lovely apartment with an excellent location in Figueres. The kitchen is quite modern and well laid-out, with all of the amenities one may require. The is a combination washer-dryer (Bosch Series 4). It overlooks a walkable street and is very cute. Please note, there are a lot of steps up a very narrow stairwell, so this unit is not accessible for some folks or if you have a lot of luggage. This is a very good location if you want to visit the Dali museum, make a quiet breakfast/ dinner, and do your laundry during travel.

The check-in process at the Farmacia took a little longer than expected, but the staff was kind. Just give yourself time for this. The washer-dryer combination unit is quite new, but these do tend to take a VERY long time to fully wash and dry the clothing (please allow 4+hours to be fully dry). I recommend reviewing the manual for the unit prior to using it (Bosch Series 4). A drying rack would have been quite helpful to have and I am usually accustomed to having these in European apartments. There was a slight odor in the apartment, so we had to open the windows to air it out. The windows to the interior shaft may have been the culprit for the odor. Also, note, there is a window in the kitchen (above the washing machine) and in the bathroom, both of which look into this interior shaft - someone in the kitchen area can then see someone in the bathroom (just a head's up if traveling with friends and family). The older style of shutters takes a bit of work to fully shut- when there was a bit of wind in the night, they were moving and I had to fiddle with them a bit. As with many European showers, the design tends to end up getting water everywhere if you are not careful, so be mindful and have enough towels ready on the floor.

The location was central and near all the town attractions. The apartment was clean.

The bathroom's sink didn't smell well. However, after using the shower, the bad smell reduced.

Exactly as depicted in the pictures. Check-in was easy (not quite a reception desk, but the pharmacy right next door had the keys and showed us to the apartment). The hosts were kind and quick to respond. The location is perfect, and the price is great for the amount of stuff and space in the apartment. (photo is of the view from the apartment)

It was a little chilly even with the heating on, and there was no table near the couch for setting a drink down/playing cards. But given the price, location, and hosts, these are very small and picky complaints! I would highly recommend staying here.
