La tranquilidad, las vistas, todo en general.

Todo ok

This is a uniquely traditional place, not at all touristy, but very convenient location with a great view. There are lots of walks near to this place and for Gomera standards a little supermarket was very close. There is also a bus stop close, but we had a rental car which gave us a lot of freedom. We hugely enjoyed the laid-back village. We did some cooking at the house. A good oven, good stove, huge fridge with freezer. The kitchen supplies are basic but it was certainly enough for ourselves. There was sugar, sold, a few spices. There was even a small reserve of tea bags and ground coffee.

All was good. If there had been lounge beds for lying in the sun, that would have been a great addition. Maybe also offer single beds, for some compositions of groups.

Rural location and amazing view, lots of walking possibilities near by and two bus stops, 5 and 10 minutes away. Felt like home, kitchen had everything and Netflix TV was an unexpected bonus as was the complimentary fruit bowl, water and juice.

Shops are far away but I brought enough food for the duration of my stay, would count this as a plus not setting eyes on a supermarket for a full week.

It is very clean and well equipped

A beautiful house in a quite, beautiful rural area, close to the mountains (so close to many hiking trails!) but far from the beach (so not ideal if you want a beach holiday). Nice terrace with fantastic view on La Fortaleza BUT, if you go in March (like we did) be aware that the house is located at an altitude of 1000m so it is pretty cold in the morning/evening (9°C). Cold wind so eating on the nice terrace is not an option. Luckily they have an excellent airco/heating system to stay warm inside. So, for hikers: this is a perfect base, also for hikes in the south of the island but you need a car ( to go to the start of the hikes, to go to supermarkets which are rather far away) The kitchen was well equipped but if you are with more than 2 people, the pots and pans are a bit small. But don't bother: just go to bar/resto Sonia in Chipude, which is an excellent place to have dinner (home-made food, friendly service), at only 1,5km from Casa Vista Bella.

A pity that we did not meet the owner and that we did not get any information about good restaurants and supermarkets. (but we found them anyway thanks to google ;o) ) We found it strange that we had to buy our own toilet paper, although it was stated on booking.com that that would be provided.

The house is very nice, large, well equipped, with a huge garden in a beautiful quiet location surrounded by nature with many hiking paths, bus stop in Chipude approx. 1 km away. Good internet and Netflix.

The apartment was really clean and well furnished and organized. We had all comforts. Its position right in front of the Fortaleza is a great plus.
