The near access to Station 1 beach is the only thing positive about this hotel.

I was very disappointed when we checked in and saw the state of our rooms. One room is for 5 occupancy but there was only 3 towels provided. Second room didn’t have tv, mouldy damp patch on the ceiling. There is a creature of some sort that keeps making noise in the middle of the night and made it very hard to sleep. You can hear the sound of the vehicles from the main room. The two air conditioners on both rooms leaked and damaged our reading books.

The toilet was spacious. The beds were comfortable and cleaned spotlessly. The location was ok, not too far from the beach access street. Staff were polite and helpful.

The wooden floors inside the room were rotting and chipping off, my child hurt his nail with the piece of protruding wood. There were some small ants/termites crawling in the sink of the toilet. On our last day, water was suddenly cut off around midnight and this was quite stressful as I felt quite ill from bad seafood that night. This is nitpicking but breakfast was not very healthy. I stayed in so many JinJiang Inn in Shanghai before and this branch was really quite a disappointment and did not live to the usual standards of this chain.

The location was great! The rooms were large and very clean with comfortable beds. The air conditioning was wonderful and worked well. Staff was friendly and attentive and made every effort to assist us with early check-in due to our extremely early flight. I loved that the rooms were refreshed daily if you chose so. Daily breakfast allowed us not to worry about one of our meals.

The bathroom window allowed bugs and mosquitos into the unit (the screened portion didn't fully fit the window): however, I appreciated having a window in the bathroom to air out the moisture from the shower. There could be a few updates in the unit we were in, but it was super clean. I do wish the breakfast options changed every other day or so..

Location

Facilities in the room are broken. No mirror, ac remote control not working, floor is broken and unsafe for child, lights are broken, it was very dark in our room, only one desk light is working, hot shower is inconsistent. No inside locks for toddlers. We were assigned to the 3rd floor, which was very unsafe for a toddler.

The cleanliness of the place, it's location, it's easy access and value for money.
