The property and owner Keven were fantastic. Met us when we arrived and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything we good.

Happy Trails was the perfect property for our multi generational family of 14!!with 2 Master suites and a bunk room in the main house and 2 master suites in the party barn plus 2 other bedrooms for kids , it fit us perfectly. The big living spaces in both houses were large and beautiful. The kitchens had everything we needed to prepare some delicious meals . The surrounding grounds were very neat and well done and the views off the decks was magical whether it was watching deer or hot air balloons- we will go back!!!

We had a great visit to Happy Trails. The two houses and common spaces were as good as we've ever rented. Our group of 13 were very comfortable, and the house set-up functioned exceptionally well.
Perhaps most important, the host/owner (Kevin) was terrific. Very communicative and he made our stay remarkable.

The property was perfect for what we wanted to do, it was a small group that stayed there and we were able to have a multiple day event that was incredible. Beautiful setting to just enjoy your time.

Our large group, including adults and teenage/young adults, all loved our stay. Plenty of room to spread out and come together around the fireplace and in the expansive party barn. We really liked the location between the mountain and town. Great access but lots of privacy. Thank you for a great stay!

This was our second year renting this home and while the amenities are nice and the rooms comfortable it's VERY difficult to enjoy if you like to cook.
What's more concerning is that last year one of the ovens didn't work either.
Our large group enjoys cooking together and we had to use the grill to cook pizza and run back and forth to the guest house to cook for our large group.
In addition, the communication was horrible. We reported the issue and were left in the dark for 3 days. Finally, we were told the part would come in the day we departed.
I have requested a partial refund and have not heard a peep from property manager or owner. We will NOT be renting from them again.

Our annual ski group has rented a number of great ski houses over the years. We were thankful to come back to this property as we loved it even before the upgrades. Now the space is just off the charts! Beautifully done and such a great spot for our whole group to be able to game, hang, and chill! Looking forward to coming back!! Thank you!!

We loved the property, however I had to cook my $150 prime rib in the guest qts.oven. It all worked out but owners know about the problem about the main house. It was a great house for our group of 10. I would like to think we left it more organized and in better shape than when we go it. Kent is amazing!!!!!

We had an amazing stay at happy trails which proved to be the perfect location for our family reunion. The house is conveniently located to the town of Big Sky, the mountain resort, hiking trails, swimming holes and more; and the party barn proved to be the perfect meeting spot for our family after active days of adventure. The listing pictures show an amazing house and property and I can truly say that Happy Trails is even more impressive in person. I highly recommend.

Three generation family of 14 plus one guest found the three different sleeping locations (house, upstairs barn and multipurpose room) perfect. Owner greeted us and the property management company was the best we have dealt with in our 30 plus years of family holidays. So much to do in Big Sky area we did not have as much time as we would have liked to enjoy the “Happy Trails” property.

Truly spectacular! The home, the hot tub, trails right off the property, the space from neighbors, the bar, the stunning art in the barn; I could go on and on. Our stay was nothing short of magical. Kevin and the property manager were there to support a successful checkin and they were able to help with anything we needed while we were there, not that we did need anything since the property is fully stocked and well equipped to support large groups and intimate settings. I would highly recommend a stay here it was a once in a lifetime experience, and as I say that we are already planning a trip back!

The Nobles' vacation home is unlike anything we've ever been to! We are so grateful to have stayed there while it was still snowing as the property is beautiful in the wintertime. Perfect location with quick access to Big Sky Resort and Town Center. Ample space for lots of people to enjoy spending time together and being able to rest in their own spaces. The barn was an awesome location for family and friends to get together!! We LOVED playing games and enjoying dinners in there.

Our family could not have been happier with our stay at Happy Trails! Excellent communication with the owner and local property manager, and every amenity you could imagine including infant pack and play and booster seat for the little ones. The house actually exceeds expectations with its comfort and views, and we all had as much fun at night in the party barn as we did during the day skiing and playing in the snow! Fabulous kitchen to make big family meals and since we were there during Winter Storm Olive we truly appreciated the many fireplaces and heated floors! We plan to return to Happy Trails one year for a summer vacation!

I have been organizing an annual ski trip with a group of friends for 18 years. We have traveled all over the western US and Canada and this year we finally made it to Big Sky, MT. We all wish we had made this stop earlier in our history. The property is amazing. All of the bedrooms are large, quiet, private, well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals for a large group or fix a snack for one. The layout of the property is awesome with the center piece being the barn party room/art gallery. In the party barn we had a movie night and a game night where we actually arranged a round-robin tournament of shuffle-puck, ping-pong and billiards. The artwork in the barn is stunning. The property itself is stunning with 22 pristine wooded acres teeming with wildlife. There is plenty of parking. Big Sky offered great skiing, but Happy Trails Lodge completed the Trip of a Lifetime by offering great accommodations amidst real Montana setting.
We will return to this place with our ski group as well as my family in the near future.

The property was excellent and beautiful. Loved the buffalo! (you'll see). The home was clean and lives up to the pics and description. Kitchen fully stocked. Tons of wood for fireplace. Everything you need. The owner is a great guy who wants you to have a great time. He met us at check in, tapped a keg and had champagne because we checked in on New Years eve.

- very close to ski resort 3 miles. Great location. We attempted to use Ski butler. For 5 days (no skip day) $3150 for my 4 members of my family. Crazy! We went to EAST slope outdoors in Big Sky- $750 for 4 people, premium skis/boots with a skip day. They were great
-Local Mexican restaurant- Don't know the name.. Surprisingly good
- Elk 30 yards down from the driveway entrance each day
-don't buy condiments and spices. He leaves them in the kitchen

Happy Trails is wonderful! We had an amazing time. The space is perfect. Everyone could have privacy, but also all could dine together and party in the barn. The barn is exquisite with art by the owners. Also, it is super fun with tons of games. The owners greeted us on arrival to give a tour and are so gracious and kind. We cannot wait to go back!

We rented this property for a reunion with friends. The home blew any expectations we had out of the water. This is by far the best home we’ve ever rented. We already miss our mornings on the balcony, evenings at the fire pit, and afternoons having cocktails in the party barn. If you have a chance to rent this property: DO IT! You will not regret it. We hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you to Kevin and the team for all the thoughtful touches to this home. We can’t recommend it enough!

From the moment, we arrived, we fell in love with this beautiful home. We were graciously welcomed with champagne and a tour of the gorgeous property. The Barn is gorgeous and beautifully made into a bar and art gallery, with 4 bedrooms. The gallery is filled with art made by the owners. The house was immaculate. The setting was so serene and peaceful. We will definitely be back again.

First time in Montana but could not imagine a better place to stay. Great house (houses) in the most convenient location imaginable. Incredible views!! Owner was great to deal with and artwork throughout the home was so beautiful. So thankful they share their beautiful home with others.

The property has spectacular views, is perfect for multi family or family reunion gatherings. It is furnished beautifully. Evening campfires followed by games in the party barn (the artwork is amazing!) were the perfect ending to each day. The location is just outside Big Sky Center. Kevin and Kimbie are wonderful hosts and highly recommend the property.

Awesome property
This property is very unique. Plenty of space makes sure large groups aren't tripping over each other. The "Party Barn" is such a fun place to gather at night to play games. The owner is a professional photographer and the Party Barn is actually a gallery with his works (and others) on the walls.
If I ever come back to Big Sky with a large group, I will book this property again.

Absolutely a beautiful place.
The propriety comes with everything your family or friends need for a wonderful vacation. The setup of the party Bsrn from the main house is prefect for larger groups. The fabulous decor and art work really bring out in the entire Yellowstone experience
This house comes fully equipped for cooking and of course a full bar set up for entertainment. Again, it’s an amazing place.

Amazing house
The party barn is amazing if you have a large group and enjoy a few drinks at night after a day on the slopes. The location was perfect and close to everything. If you have a large group this house is perfect! Definitely recommend renting this house.

10 / 10 - Amazing Place
I stayed here with a few friends in March and our expectations were exceeded. The house looks exactly like it does on pictures, and the location could not be better. The house is situated exactly in between the mountain and the downtown Big Sky town.
Kevin and Kimbie were great hosts, and Amber (property manager) was responsive and available to answer our questions. The western house decor is awesome, we loved the stray saddles and cowboy hats everywhere. Kevin and Kimbie's artwork also hangs all over the main house and party barn, and is awesome to look at it. We had an amazing stay and would 10/10 recommend to anyone. We hope to be back next year!

This home and property are breathtaking and incredibly unique! We had 3 families stay together and had a blast utilizing all that the home had to offer - from cozy rooms, giant dining area, amazing party barn that was fun for all, close to all that Big Sky has to offer. The owners were very communicative with us leading up to our stay and when I communicated with the property manager during the stay she responded right away. All three of us couples have rented many homes and this home by far exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back again for a longer time, esp to explore the snowshoeing and XC skiing that is right out the front door....Summer time would be amazing too! Thank you for sharing your stunning home with us all!

Our group had a fantastic week at this stunning Big Sky property. The party barn was perfect for Après ski activities and the main house was great for dinners and relaxing by the fire. Couldn’t have asked for a better location - we can’t wait to go back!
