convenient access from/to beach, clean & comfortable room and bath, great kitchen, gracious host

a little confusing/difficult to checkin without yet having wifi but we were able to contact host and she was there in 5 minutes

Right in the Coastal Camino Portugués. The hostess, Manuela Alves, was very pleasant, kind and welcoming. She offered a glass of tasty port wine at check-in! The interior of the house is well-maintained, cool, clean and comfortable. From the kitchen, she sold snacks and wines at very low prices. My room was large and airy and the bed felt hard at first but was surprisingly comfortable. I slept very well. I enjoyed some gentle jumps on the old backyard trampoline. I had a wonderful evening meal at Restaurante Paraíso a few doors south.

The exterior of the building is unassuming but in need of upkeep, cleaning and repair. When I arrived, I thought I might have the wrong address because it looked uncared-for.

Only a minor thing, but quite important: no address or sign on the street to tell it was the right house! A small signpost would be really helpful

We were arriving to Porto late and needed a one night stay near the airport. The accommodation is 10 mins drive away from the airport and very easy to find. We had an en suite bathroom and it was clean and we had towels that we needed. The kitchen had some snacks and drinks you can pay a small fee for. Checking in with Manuela was super easy and she responded very quickly. We were greeted by the sea breeze in the morning. It was wonderful for the night we stayed.

As we got the yellow room, we were directly at the entrance of the door and could hear it when people enter or exit. But it wasn't a big problem for us.

Excellent communication, very thought out kitchen with snacks to buy very well priced. We enjoyed a bottle of wine for 3 euro! The beds were so comfy!! Nice hot shower!

Manuela picked me up from the airport and I stayed one night at her place. I felt welcome from the very first moment on and we had some nice conversations. She’s super charming and offered s lot of help. Her place offers everything you can wish for!

Nice location if you walk the Camino Portugues Coastal from Porto Cathedral and don't want to continue to Labruge.

They app you in the morning asking time of arrival. My first day on the camino walking from Porto I simply couldn't tell exactly. I gave a 2 hour time span in which I probably would arrive. I did, but when I got there had to wait almost half an hour before someone got there to let me in.

Manuela was lovely, her grandson lives at the property and was also lovely. Great value and immaculate. Highly recommend in this price point

Very clean and organized. Beautiful common spaces. Lovely host. Good kitchen.

Noise from the road - get the back room if possible. My partner didn’t sleep much because of the mattress. I slept like a rock. A matter of taste.

Close to thw camino. Simole but confortable

This house is just behind the ocean. Everything was clean and comfortable, thank you Manuela for this nice stay

Keep in mind that supermarkets and cafes in the near are rare and open late (I went out at 8am)
