In every sense of the word, the property is cosy! Makes you feel at home. All kitchen utensils are in place and we didn't have to buy anything; just the expected and usual food supplies etc. The rooms are also okay with a functioning a/c. It's truly value for money! We also enjoyed the pool! The rooftop view is out of this world! As a family of six, staying for seven nights, it would shock you that one of the major deciding factors in choosing to stay at this property, is the fact that the property has 3 bathrooms. In our research for places, we found most villas having on average 1 bathroom. The property has a book shelf with a variety of novels from almost every genre to choose from. A lot of indoor games were also at our disposal. I would also want to thank both Hans and Vijay for their immense concern and assistance during our penultimate days (30-31st dec 2019) when there was a class 3 Cyclone Calvinia warning as well as cyclonic conditions over the island. Their tips really made a difference and as a family we are eternally grateful. This natural event only affected our last activity that we had planned (catamaran boat cruise at ile aux cerfs) but apart from that we enjoyed the property, the beautiful Mauritius and its kind-hearted people. I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat.

There are two suggestions for improvement that I passed on to Mr. Vijay (the hosts' brother): 1. The portable fan meant to be used in the lounge and dinning area may not be sufficient. Maybe a "wall" a/c as used in the rooms could do the trick. But I do get the point, that opening the windows might help with ventilation but as a family of six this wasn't quite enough. 2. The two rooms apart from the en suite master bedroom have no access to wifi. I would miss important updates from the Hans or Vijay as I would be in the room asleep. Investment in a booster/router upstairs is welcome.
