You cannot beat the location. The stunning view from the lounge is breathtaking. Bev the owner was fantastic, her attention to detail is second to none and she is very helpful and only a text away should you need her.

Absolutely everything. Bev is by far the best host we have ever stayed with. The warmest welcome and little extra touches mean so much, and the view is out of this world! The dogs were made as welcome as we were and cannot recommend this little gem enough. We have already booked our 2nd stay!!

The Lookout was the perfect base to explore the Norfolk coast. It was extremely well equipped and we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. We were able to relax in comfort and enjoy the view of the sea from the balcony.

We had an amazing stay at The Lookout. It is an immaculate home that is equipped with everything you could ever need. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the location is spectacular, with the beach, restaurants, pub, crazy golf and ice cream shop only a few minutes walk away. Bev was a fabulous host and made us feel completely welcome.

The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The kitchen in particular is very well equipped. It is a short walk down steps to a dog friendly beach. The beach is sandy and beautiful. Mundesley is a short walk with a good pub and a few cafes and shops. We will return.

The Lookout was an ideal location, with the 1st floor lounge looking out to the sea. The property was extremely clean and comfortable. Bev had provided all facilities you would want, plus more. Bailey, our dog, was also catered for with a bowl and treats. The property was a short walk to Tesco Express also restaurants and The Ship. There was also a lot of information provided on local attractions and amenities. I would certainly recommend The Lookout.

Everything was great

We liked everything! 😃 The Lookout is just a perfect place to stay. Bev is so friendly & always on hand for any questions. We as a family enjoyed every minute of our stay. There is everything & more within the house so you really don't need to take very much. Welcome package of fresh flowers, wine, biscuits, rock & treats for our dog Monty were fabulous. Mundesley is a lovely seaside village, very friendly (also very dog friendly) & the beach is great, there are steep steps & ramp down to the beach just in front of the house but if you have got mobility issues you can access the beach via the promenade. All in all we have found a real gem & we cannot wait to return! 😍

We have been staying at the lookout each year consistently since 2018, because it is just such a special place with an amazing host. We are moving to canada this year so this was our last visit (for a while at least anyway) and we Will miss it so much! Thank you so much Bev xx

There is nothing not to like!

It was a lovely, clean, house with everything you could wish for. The host was friendly and spoiled us and the dog with wine, flowers and treats! Very kind. The views were great and the location in easy reach of the beach local shops, pub and takeaways.

The location of 'The Lookout' was perfect for us and our furry friend Dexter. Although there are many steps to climb up and down to reach the beach, it was really handy if we didn't want to take the car. And it kept us fit! The view from 'The Lookout' was amazing, we really loved the elevated position of the property. The location was perfect, just a short walk or drive to the centre of Mundesley and close by to any amenities you might require, i.e. grocery store, pub, cafe etc. We really couldn't fault the property at all, everything you might need (and hadn't thought to bring!) was there for you. I really loved all the finishing touches, which made 'The Lookout' like a home from home, like the tea lights, scented candle and fairy lights in the lanterns and outside - all so lovely! I could go on and on but I won't! All I can say is that we would definitely recommend 'The Lookout' to anyone, either with a dog or without, and are looking to stay in Mundesley and are looking for comfortable, stylish, clean accommodation with all mod cons and an amazing view. We will be back!

My bestie and I spent four days at The Lookout. The house was beautifully presented and decorated. The location was perfect with views from the lounge overlooking the sea. Well equipped with leaflets and things to do and also games. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Our host was incredibly helpful throughout the booking and even popped into see if we had settled in well. Some kind gifts were left for us as it was Valentines Day and biscuits for the dog, this was a nice touch. Loved our stay and would highly recommend the accommodation. Would love to return one day.

This is an exceptional place to stay, so much thought and care has gone into making this a great holiday home. The house was super clean, warm and looked great. It had everything you could need and more. There was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. The view is amazing and the kitchen is so well equipped, it is possible to cook complex meals. It's a short walk to a lovely sandy beach and on rainy days there is Netflix, fast wifi, and lots of games. Bev came by to welcome us and give us helpful information. Really lovely stay, thank you.

Hard to fault the place, it is really excellent. As a personal preference I prefer a harder bed but that would not stop me from visiting again.

Cleanliness was top mark, location, sea view, decorations, facilities, and lovely hosts. The entire place is full of little thoughtfulness such as frozen loafs of bread in the freeze, enough of washing up liquid, toilet rolls, salt etc. so we don't have to remember to get them from the shop

Literally nothing

The place was spotlessly clean. Bev, the host was very friendly and helpful and had made an extra effort to make the place feel Christmassy - with lights on to welcome our arrival She had also provided milk, prosecco, biscuits, coffee, etc plus treats, toys and towels for the dog to make our stay easy and fun. The house was really well equipped - a complete home from home. A very relaxing place to stay and look out across the sea.

The accommodation was excellent, everything possible had been provided and we couldn't have asked for any more. Bev was an excellent ánd attentive host and we will definitely stay again
