L'emplacement est un peu à l'écart de Montignac, au bout d'un chemin empierré, très calme et plein de charme. Les maisons sont très simplement et joliment rénovées. Le propriétaire est très serviable et sympathique.

Le propriétaire, sur place, gère trois gîtes dont il est difficile de distinguer les photographie sur le site de Booking. Pour le nôtre, l'annonce de 2 chambres est tout à fait erronée : il s'agit au mieux d'une chambre parentale avec une minuscule alcove attenante, pour deux enfants, sans fenêtre sur l'extérieur, et fermée par store et rideau. La configuration n'est pas du tout agréable pour deux couples d'adultes. L'isolation entre les différentes pièces est minimale : très jolies mais très minces cloisons de bois. Dans la cuisine l'équipement est minimal mais suffisant.

Peaceful old farmstead converted into gites surrounded by forest and meadows . Beautiful birdsong, very quiet. Ate on old patio which had a barbeque. Simple furniture and shutters on the house.

The kitchen needed tea towels and hand towels for washing up.

extremely easy check-in and check-out. The owner allowed us 1 hour earlier into the unit, which made visiting the booked Lascaux 4 tour so much easier.And also allowed us to stay a bit longer in the morning when checking out. Airconditioned, I believe the first place we came accross this visit in France with airco, very much appreciated on a hot day! good size room, nice spacious bathroom. very quiet and beautiful setting. We would recommend this place. Although we only stayed 1night, this would be a perfect place to spen a few nice days to visit this magnificent region.

Microwave door and some cutlery wasn't as clean as should be, makes you wonder if everything else gets cleaned 100%, but this is only a minor detail.

Peaceful rural location perfect for visiting sites such as Lascaux and Roque de Saint Christophe. Montignac with its shops and cafes is only minutes away by car and accessible on foot. Enjoyable walks from the door. Clean, well-equipped and comfortable gîte. We had a great stay, thank you.

Only that the pool was closed but that opens later in the season.

The accommodation was perfect after a long drive from Caen. Nicely decorated, clean and very peaceful. Brilliant location to visit La Roque St Christophe and the surrounding area. Montignac is a very nice little village down the road too. Loved our stay and would definitely return. Have already recommended to family.

This a family owned farm very close to the center of Montignac and Lascaux. There is a fully stocked (dishes, glasses, pots, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, utensils) kitchen with 2 burner electric stove. There is a table with 4 chairs. The bath has a huge sink, shower and commode. The water pressure in the shower is a trickle. Host supplied ample towels. The bed was perfect, firm. There are radiators in each room. With freezing temps outside, I only used the one in the kitchen and was perfectly warm. The heater in the bath is a nice touch. There is a sleeping loft for additional guests which I didn't check out. WiFi reception is great but no phone service

Everything was fine with the exception of a very brief electrical outage. Not sure why my phone kept saying no service. Whatsapp worked perfectly
