Neat, clean and tidy, friendly and special thanks for Mr. Husni, Atif and Kishor, they were helpful, friendly and open minded. The location of the hotel is good and the food is delicious and plenty.

Der Blick auf den See und die Menschen waren sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker.
Die Zimmer gehen zur Straße raus, das Wasser war lauwarm und es war nicht wirklich sauber. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen.

only the location of the hotel was good
there were houseflies, mosquitos in the room, toiletries were provided upon request and not all of them were given.
they messaged us that they had prepared our room but it was not up to the mark.
washroom was very cramped and very less space to use it.
breakfast was average. I have complained about all issues but they haven't given us any discount rather they have said that we have to pay in full as you have come through booking com

The staffs were caring, nice and helpful.
Restaurant was closed, bar was closed for renovations as per the manager. But when we try to book, in booking website it showed that restaurant services, room services and bar facilities were available. We booked the room expecting to use restaurant and room service.

They charged me a higher than market rate of 375 Rupees per USD, while actual rate was 365 Rs at the time of transaction.
Nowhere else in over 8 hotels that we stayed in Sri lanka, has anyone charged us a higher than market rate for USD. So this hotel was an exception.

Our stay was pleasant. Had a nice view of the Gregory Park. The staffs were very helpful and kind. The breakfast they arranged was scrumptious, despite the limitations they had. Enjoyed our stay.

Location is a bit far from anything while still being noisy because it is on a road. Also the views of the lake are a bit ďeceiving on the pics

Room was perfect spacy, clean and with a balcony open to the Gregory lake. The view is fantastic and brings cool winds from mountain. Panoramic view, lake surrounded by misty mountain. Manager and all in the reception desk helped us attending our needs.

we been at the property with our 2 kids, only sign on the door CLOSED. we quickly had to find another hotel to stay that night. very disappointed with that hotel. there was a phone number to ring and when we rang the man said we had to wait outside until he comes, it was 3:30PM and it was raining and cold.

had a lake view room with balcony
I arrived and the hotel was shut had to wait over an hour in the cold for the owner to come and open the hotel, the room was dirty and the breakfast was awful

The location is great. it’s in front of the lake and also so closer to the city. The staff was really nice and helpful. IJAZ particularly was so helpful and flexible. we got breakfast packs arranged on a short, last minute notice to go to Horton Plains early in the morning. He also accommodated our late checkout request although there were many bookings in hand.
it’s nothing wrong about the property since they are just opening up after Covid. Once the restaurant is up and running it’ll be very helpful too. Because of the hotel location, meal arrangements was not a concern at all though.

The hotel was closed! We arrived on the bicycle , dripping wet and very cold to find that the hotel was under renovation.
