The view from the front room was nice. Looks out over the bay (albeit with a power pole and wires one field of view). 800 m walk to a cafe. Beds were reasonably comfortable and the unit is spacious.

The place had not been cleaned after the last guests. Food scraps in the floor, clumps of hair and dirt, bathrooms unclean. Deck was covered in leaf litter, chairs had cobwebs and leaf litter and table covered in dust. Discovered the hot water was not tuned on when I got a lukewarm shower. The place also needs maintenance. Holes in the front screen sliding door fly screens. The screen doors are so old they don’t slide. You have to jiggle them along to open and close. They don’t close properly so heaven help you when there are mozzies about. Some pot plants on deck half dead. I took pity on them and watered them. The fridge was missing the lower racks in the door so we had to take a rack out to be able to stand our milk upright. Microwave doesn’t seem to work properly. ‘Gardens’ completely overgrown with weeds and half dead from lack of watering. I would find a better property manager if I was the owners. When I complained about the lack of cleaning they sent someone out who vacuumed and mopped but still did not clean the bathrooms. I ended up doing it myself. Next door property had a dog that yapped incessantly. The apartment also sits on a really busy road and the traffic noise was constant through the day. We were also told in the original email that there was no parking but luckily that was incorrect. There is a garage and a parking space in front yard of each unit. Luckily as it is a no stopping zone for half a km in each direction.

very nice property, plenty of bedrooms, good laundry facilities, liked the kitchen. Close to Bernie’s fish and chips, (Batehaven delight) supermarket, food stores, and there’s even an Oyster dealer two streets away.

be aware that the property faces the beach Road. However, this was no problem for us, as the beach Road isn’t heavily trafficked in September, and the bonus is that the front deck and front window faces the dawn sun which adds to the attractiveness of the property.

The location opposite Casey's Beach was fantastic. The property was very roomy and comfortable. At first, we had expected to be closer to town, but having looked around, we realized that it was nicer to be on an ocean beach, and the town was less than 3km away - no problem when you have a car.

It's an older property that's beginning to need a bit of maintenance (eg. marks on ceiling of one bedroom indicating a water leak; garage door in need of lubrication as it struggled to go up and down at first).

the house is facing the sea and the view was fantastic

there was no towels, shampoo & body wash. there is no wifi and the coverage in the house sucks.

The view and location are good

Disappointed that i payed a large sum of money to stay in a house full off cockroaches. There wasnt a place in the house that didnt have them. Dishwasher, beds bathroom had to chuck out my tooth bush as i found small babys crawling out of it on my last night there.

Big apartament, with 2 living spaces, nice balcony with great view.

It wasn't very clean.
