Lovely scenery, good food, real fires in bar area, complimentary Tea,coffee, fresh milk in rooms

Room 14 wasn't cleaned very well at all, didn't get towel change, radiator kept turning itself off so room very cold

Ample car parking, good food, biscuits in the room, fresh milk for tea!

Friendly and caring staff, food very well presented and tasty. Catered very well for gluten free guests. Plenty of parking. Good sized rooms with good well thought out facilities to ensure a very comfortable stay.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

the food was excellent , drinks reasonable but more importantly the staff were incredibly helpful.

the bed was a regular double not a larger Queen and the mattress was quite high & soft

Food was only served until 8pm and even on the weekend. The room would have benefited from a small fridge

From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Our room was cosy and had an external door to the car park which was great for bringing in the luggage. Our evening meals were delicious and no one queried that we ordered starters only. Breakfast was included with our stay and apart from cereals and yogurt there was a super menu of generous hot dishes - the porridge was creamy and set us up for the day. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the north Peak District. On the doorstep of the three reservoirs.
