The steep step down into the kitchen was a concern particularly for the older members of the group

Gorgeous house in a perfect location. Everything we needed was provided. Very warm central heating and lovely decor and garden! We loved it!

good location, very clean

lacking basic extras like milk, nice tea and hand soap at sinks. the cheap tea and long life milk don’t feel very generous with 8 people staying considering the nightly rate.

Great on both counts. Lovely to receive the box of goodies on arrival, and a pleasant walk to the main drag and shops. This was our 6th stay at Beecroft House.

The only pitfalls - the oven is an under performer. Even for reheating it takes forever. Wouldn’t cook with it which is a shame. I’m staying there with my family for Xmas and won’t be able to cook Xmas dinner. The toilet ran all night in the main bathroom which affected some in regard to sleeping. And the shower head was very difficult to adjust.

Walking distance to the shops hotels and restaurants, lovely garden, big rooms, open fire, three bathrooms, cute breakfast nook, fabulous welcome pack from our hosts. Thank you.

Only a small thing we didn't like was the height of the step down into the kitchen from the living/dining room.

Such a beautiful location. Gorgeous gardens and heaps of room for our family of 8 to explore.

The house and gardens are lovely. The beds were very comfortable and the open living at the rear of the house was great. The cleanliness in all areas except the kitchen was good.

There were no shelves for food. i had to clear out shelves and wash down dirty shelves and cupboard doors. We stayed there to prepare for my daughters wedding but the iron was broken so we had to get an iron for the weekend. There was no television (even though it says it there is on the DayGet Beecroft web page). There was a DVD player, but no DVDs. Our babysitter sat all night with nothing to do. There was no BBQ within the beautiful backyard.
