The owner has thought of everything she can to provide what you need for your stay here. Was very quiet. Great base from which to explore the beautiful cloud forest reserves.

If you like hotel-standard service this may not be the right choice for you. For us it was a home away from home, fully equipped kitchen (even a blender was available), lovely interior, beautiful view just a few minutes by car away from Santa Elena downtown. The owners are lovely.

We had to empty the bins ourselves. Especially for the one in the bathroom it would be nice if it were emptied on a daily basis.

After travelling for more than three weeks, we had some of our best sleeps at Casitas Jeruti. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean and spacious. our host thought of everything, The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, it even had fresh eggs and water in the fridge for us. There were delicious pastries waiting for us when we arrived which was a very nice touch after a long day of driving.

This property is located a little bit outside of town. It’s only about 2 1/2 km, however with the nature of the roads, it takes about 5 to 7 minutes to get into town. depending on your comfort level, you may not want to be driving these roads at night. my husband had no problem with it, but it’s not something I would be comfortable with.

I really loved this apartment. It was really thoughtfully designed for travellers and had everything you’d need. It was very homely and I loved being able to cook for myself with fresh produced bought in town. It was really nice to have a dining table and sofa to relax on too. Lovely cakes and fresh lemonade on arrival in the room along with eggs and some basic condiments.

No wifi at all in the property. The road to enter the property was very steep and you have to come at it from one direction otherwise you won’t make it up. Strange that cleaning costs are called out in the bill but the room isn’t cleaned each morning and the beds aren’t made. I found the owner to be very abrupt and rude on occasion. You have to pay via an email link they send you and given that there was no wifi this was difficult. She came knocking on my door at 10 am requesting I pay so I said I would when I went into town and could connect to wifi, she then reminded me again when I was in my car on my way out by shouting across the garden. Finally, on this website, it says checkout is up to 12pm. It absolutely isn’t as at 11.20 she was knocking on my door telling me I needed to get out so they could clean. It was a shame to end the stay on such a sour note.

This place was great! Very cute and quite rooms. Very clean and even had snacks on the table when we got there!
