The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft. The house overall was immaculate and well stocked. Ann even provided fresh fruit, full size toiletries, home baked brown bread and a cooler for our day trip. She is the perfect hostess -- responsive, generous and very sweet. And all within a couple minutes of the Kenmare town center which might be the cutest place in all of Ireland. Could not have asked for a better accommodation.

Property was exceptional and as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Ann was very responsive and patient with us as we navigated our first stay in Ireland, dealing with differences in heating control, etc. between here and home. Thank you again, Ann.

I can’t say enough good things about this property and it’s host. It is very well appointed with everything you need, plus more. It was a wonderful jumping off point to visit Killarney National Park, drive the Ring of Kerry, and of course spend evenings strolling through lovely Kenmare. We felt at home here right away, we wanted for nothing, and only wish we could have spent a whole week here! We would definitely stay here again.

Ann meet us for check-in, explaining how a few things work that are different than my home country (US). She left us freshly baked scones, coffee/tea, and a few breakfast options, as well as a bowl of fresh fruit. The house was super clean and very comfortable. Ann was the most welcoming host we’ve ever experienced through VRBO. She baked us scones and left out a big bowl of fruit for us. She thoroughly explained all the workings of the house as well as left detailed written instructions including recommendations for restaurants and pubs. This was an amazing experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Ann is an excellent host. The house is clean, comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped even down to crystal wine glasses which we used on New Years Eve. The walk into Kenmare is paved and takes 15 minutes if you don’t want to drive. We would book again.

I was here in 2019 and loved it..the house and the location. 2022 didn't disappoint. All was as I remembered, with some updates. Ann is super friendly and responsive to messages! Thanks for another lovely trip to Ireland! Hope to return again soon!

We loved this house and Kenmare! Ann is the perfect host and was very responsive from the reservation process through checkout. She gave us a lot of information about sightseeing and restaurants in the area. She made delicious scones for our arrival. Kenmare is a great location for exploring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle and Beara Peninsula as well as the south west of Cork. The house is absolutely wonderful. It is perfect for walking into town to go to the many beautiful pubs ans restaurants. Supermarktes are only around the corner if you wish to cook yourself. Ann provides more than what a normal holiday home rental usually comes with. No need to bring shampoo and similar, nor anything for your laundry. Ann provides everything. Most impressive were the food left for a good breakfast (cereals, milk, butter, jam, coffee, tea, eggs etc) and her home made bread for the first few days. Ann has communicated wonderfully with us from the start right through to the end, checking in to see how things were ... thanks so much. We had a fabulous time. We give it 5* and can thoroughly recommend it.

Ann is an excellent host, her property is amazing. Only 10-15 mins walk to town or park for free at the church. The bakes Ann left were so good my daughter asked for the recipe. There was a toy chest which my grandson really enjoyed. A clean and spacious property, Ann was only a message or call away if you need help or advice. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Anne for the extra little touches that made our stay so special.

This VRBO was 5-star. The house, the location and the amenities were even better than described. Ann was a super hostess and was kind enough to provide many of the basics travellers like us require but also added some very nice personal touches. I especially recommend her freshly baked bread. We would highly recommend this location. Ann is a fantastic host. From the home made brown bread to the detailed instructions for how to use the appliances to the recommendations for things to do. She is very personal as a host making sure everything is ok. The house worked fabulous. Very clean and the location was walking distance to the town. Amenities were top notch. We booked this house to use as a home base while exploring Beara Penninsula, Ring of Kerry and the Kenmare area. From the time of booking to check out we had an excellent experience working with the owner, Ann. She connected with us right away to see if we had any other needs that she could prepare for us before our arrival to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were traveling with two 5 year old children and she asked if there was anything she could prepare for us to be sure they had something to do at the house as well. We arrived in Kenmare to check in later than expected and Ann was very flexible in meeting with us to check in. She even called a local restaurant to make reservations so we could have dinner right after check in as it was later in the evening. When we arrived she greeted us with homemade brown bread, groceries for breakfast and fresh flowers on the table. The home was so clean and comfortable and was even better than the pictures show. The bedrooms were spacious and there was a nice patio with a table to sit outside in a private back yard. Being there made us feel like we were at home. During our stay we were unable to find something we needed in town so we reached out to Ann and she immediately made calls to find what we needed and got back to us. She truly was an amazing hostess who wanted to be sure we had the best stay possible. The house is walking distance from the city centre for shopping and restaurants, and is also walking distance to grocery stores. If you are traveling to the Kenmare area this is a must book for a great stay! We will return!
