We are two elderly couples who travel a lot together. We have stayed in VRBOS in France, UK, Croatia, Costa Rica, Belize and all around the US. We were very happy with this lovely log cottage. It was easily accessible to all the parks and scenic roadways around NH. It was very private and peaceful. Ample parking. We enjoyed the lovely porch were we sat with coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was attentive to our needs.

Cabin like home was beautiful with a large wrap around porch with a nice view for sunrise/sunset. The property has everything you would need from pots and pans to cleaning supplies. Great for a family looking for a cozy place to stay. Nina was very informative and provided detailed directions for everything which was appreciated.

The house was comfortable and has plenty of outdoor space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed for cooking.
We were primarily hiking, so the house is perfectly located for many hikes in the Presidentials, Kinsman Ridge, and Lafayette Ridge.
The small village of Franconia has an excellent market, a coffee shop, and several restaurants.
And Nina, the host, was helpful and very prompt in her responses.

Host was very responsive. Well stocked. A large patio table and chairs at a regular height that seat a group of over 4 would have been a welcome addition. Location is great but cabin is below treeline so there is not a great view from the porch in area where great views are all over.

Wonderful Stay!
We had such a wonderful stay. We had everything we needed, location (private, yet close to town and nearby activities), size (very comfortable for a group of six), and amenities (house had just about everything we needed).
There were just a couple minor notes such as there being no ceiling fan/box fan in the master bedroom (just a small 8in fan). Fortunately, the weather was beautiful and mild during our stay, but can see this being a bit of an issue peak summer for anyone who likes to be cool at night. Our Roku remote batteries were also dead when we arrived so we had to purchase some while we were there.
Nina was very nice and quick to respond to any questions/provide information.
Overall, a lovely stay. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend!

We were very comfortable in and comforted by the beautiful, quiet, very clean Bear Hollow cabin. The kitchen was very well equipped. Never did get used to cumbersome Roku tv over our 4 week stay. Nina was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond to every question and issue. Loved her beautiful flower gardens!

Bear Hollow retreat
We were very comfortable in and comforted by the beautiful, quiet, very clean Bear Hollow cabin. The kitchen was very well equipped. Never did get used to cumbersome Roku tv over our 4 week stay. Nina was very nice, helpful, and quick to respond to every question and issue. Loved her beautiful flower gardens!

Wonderful Week!
Our second time at this property in less than a year. It is like coming home. The place is well stocked with everything from kitchen utensils to comfortable beds. Everything is high quality! We really love it and will be back again soon!

Wonderful Vacation Home!
Clean, comfortable, warm and inviting are just a few of the words to describe this lovely log home in the White Mountains. This home has everything that you can think of, and more! It's modern but still has a lot of character. The ping pong table was a surprise added bonus! The location is perfect for enjoying all the local attractions. There is a small but full-service grocery store down the street. Nina was fantastic with communicating with us--she takes pride in her home and in the comfort of her guests. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

Great mountain getaway!
Nina’s cabin in Franconia is wonderful! Awesome location near hiking trails, lakes for swimming and kayaking.

Franconia Dream!
Nina was an excellent host and did a terrific job in communication and accommodation. Extremely clean property and great amenities. Kitchen is very well equipped to feed a whole household and with every tool/utensil someone would ever need. We loved the location, removed and away from people but only a short drive to the nearest markets and a great Co-Op in Littleton. Highly recommend this property as it was an extremely pleasant stay and we will be returning.

R&R in the White Mountains
My husband came home for 3 weeks of R&R so we decided to spend one week in the White Mountains. Wow! Nina was quick to respond, thorough and overall pleasant to work with. The house was beautiful, clean, very well stocked from the bathrooms, to the kitchen and pantry, grill... I could keep going on. We felt like we were home. The kitchen was well stocked. We made breakfast, lunch and dinner every night! The beds were so comfortable. Comfortable mattress, pillow and sheets. One night the power went out and Nina called to check in on us. We are already planning our next White Mountain adventure, and will definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend Staying at this house and with Nina as the landlord. beautiful log cabin that's even better in person
The pictures don't do this property justice! It's a beautiful log cabin that is cozy and clean. Lots of comfortable seating in the living room which was open to the dining room and kitchen, allowing for our family to hang out as a group. Beds are great and dark out shades allowed us to sleep undisturbed. I imagine the porch is amazing in the summer - we might have to come back to experience it! But since we were here in the winter, the kids enjoyed the sleds and snowshoes that the host made available to us. Very close proximity to the highway, which made it easy to get to Cannon, Bretton Woods and Loon.
Overall an incredible stay and I highly recommend this property!

Great stay, loved the house!
Thank you for providing a warm, confortable and clean home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very well stocked and homy. The location was perfect and gave us easy access to all the great skiing and snowshoeing that the area has to offer. It was an experience we will wish to repeat!

Family Weekend
This property was perfect for ut family gathering of 6 adults and 3 children. It was spotless and beautifully maintained. The kitchen was really well-equipped - we did a lot of cooking and there was nothing that we needed that wasn't available. Definitely want to go back again!

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, the area quiet. Enjoyed the deck. The owner was easy to communicate with, very helpful, and made us feel welcome. Everything was just perfect! Would definitely return and recommend.
