This property was clean, spacious and unique. The upstairs loft was the perfect spot for our teenage son and the outside space was the perfect place to escape with a book. The location was great, we were very close to many of the central attractions and our host Sofia was wonderful and even helped us arrange for a car to the airport.

The elevator is very very small but the stairs were not so bad.

My friends and I loved the style of the loft and it’s position in the heart of Florence. It’s ideal for a friends group stay.

We didn’t like how the two bathrooms are one next to the other and that both hairdryers didn’t have the right adapter to be plugged in the bathrooms. We had to use them in the kitchen to dry our hair. This is something that can easily be improved.

The location of the property was perfectly positioned for travel in and out of Florence station. As we were staying in Florence for just one day, we had a tight schedule, but were able to leave our bags at a nearby bar if early. Due to a change of plans for a tour ( we noticed this a lot in Italy) we left our bags with a leather store whilst we whizzed around the City in a golf cart whilst we waited for the 3pm check in. The apartment is located on the top floor, but there is a very small lift that can take two people up and down, ( need a key to operate). The apartment is modern and nicely decorated with a nice little outside space- which wasn't expected. Nicely air conditioned to all rooms ( although a little noisy).

I had checked prior to arrival that there will definitely be 3 beds, but only 2 doubles were made up. Luckily we found a clean sheet so were able to make up a separate bed for our Son, who would share a room but not a bed with his Sister and vice versa. The only thing we found a little odd, is lots of bags of dirty bedding squashed into cupboards, probably to be collected, and I stepped on a small shard of glass when I took shoes off entering the apartment in the kitchen area.

Location was perfect

This is a beautiful accommodation and can comfortably sleep six people with a private bedroom, loft bed, and sofa bed. The terrace is a lovely place to start and end the day. There are also two bathrooms with full showers which was really appreciated! It’s also in a truly lovely area.

They allowed us to store our bags before checking in (as most accommodations do), but we had to store them at a local restaurant that did not store our bags behind a locked door so that wasn’t ideal. The elevator is also very small, but we still found it useful.

A gorgeous apartment in the heart of Florence. So chic and beautifully appointed, with cool touches like a funky loft room and a mirrored ceiling in the living room! The kids loved it! The space fit our family of 5 comfortably, and even had 2 bathrooms. It also included a cool outdoor space. The location was perfect, only a few minutes walk to the station, Duomo, River, and lots of great bars and restaurants. Highly recommend the Olive Loft!
