There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Very comfortable room, looking out towards the harbour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. Location great, at the centre of West Bay and right by the bus stop for buses to Weymouth and Lyme Regis.

The breakfast was excellent and plenty of options, the staff where so friendly and accommodating. I stayed for one night before my wedding and they allowed a late check out and for my grooms party to get ready in the room with no issues. They delayed opening the pub for a few minutes so we could get some photos of the party down in the bar. Thank you so much and I will return with my new wife.

Water in basins not hot enough , toilet seat broken (although usable) and noisy extractor fan when starting up.

The quadruple room was perfect for our family 2+2. There were two rooms joined by the bathroom. Perfect! Very clean and warm, it had everything we needed. Very good choice for breakfast- croissant, cornflakes or fry up on request, delicious. Central location in beautiful West Bay, close to the beach and playground. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking on site.

Beautiful room with excellent views

Beautiful room with views of the harbour and sea front. it was warm ( on an extremely cold weekend) comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was exceptional.

Nothing but there were two flights of stairs to the room which could be too much for some people.

2nd time staying here and was just as perfect as the first time. Staff remembered me which made a huge impact! If you’re booking here make sure you book room 4 the best view of the harbour with a lovely bay window to sit in and a very comfy bed and huge bath. Food is impeccable and reasonably priced. The George will be the only place I’ll be staying from now on when I visit West Bay Thank you for an amazing weekend

Warm friendly accommodation. Good food ideal stay as weather was atrocious and able to use very comfortable warm, spacious room with clean bathroom and good toiletries. Close to beach. Ideal as a centre for exploring the area. Good car parking.

The weather! Beyond the control of our hosts but didn't spoil our stay

It is not pretentious. It still has a pub atmosphere with the added bonus of comfortable rooms and good food. The staff work well as a team and the landlady, Karen, is a welcoming and caring hostess.

There is no lift and no accommodation on a ground floor so don’t carry too much luggage!

Did a Xmas period a stay 3 years ago, repeated again 2022. Fantastic location with on site parking. Friendly and really helpful staff. Bar has great atmosphere and Food is excellent Value and plentiful.

Only the fact that I had to go home… maybe a memory foam mattress would be nice but not to everyone’s liking. Nothing like your own bed comfort .

Room was large and comfortable. Good breakfast. Great central location.

Shower needs a good clean with new sealant. Bar area needs up dating. Stairs had a bad smell.

Only downside was the windows being quite thin so being in m the harbour/beach the wind and rain was very harsh against the windows

The staff were lovely, couldn’t do enough and the breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants a real treat.
