Restaurantküche absolut empfehlenswert! Frühstück fantastisch. Zimmer halbwegs renoviert, schön. Lage top. Nachts sehr gut in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Fuss andere Lokale erreichbar. Personal teils super nett, andere nicht wirklich motiviert. Besitzerfamilie sehr nett.

Viel zu kleine Betten. Die ersten 2 Tage kein Wifi kein TV, dann Wifi für 1 Tag und dann wieder nicht im Zimmer. TV leider Miniformat. Badezimmertür nicht schliessbar, uralteTüre, passt nicht zum Rahmen.Balkontürklinge kaputt. Die Bar im Erdgeschoss etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Bei Ankunft war niemand wirklich zuständig aber etwa 6 Personen haben mitgemischt....jedesmal wenn man etwas bezahlen musste, auch Abendessen etc.wurde man angeschaut von den besoffenen Gäste oder als Frau angesprochen. An einigen Tagen haben die Besoffenen bis fast 1h früh herumgejolt. Durch die Strasse auf beiden Seiten ziemlich laut. Zum Schluss musste ich fast 25 Euro mehr bezahlen, angebliche Taxen, es wurde aber nie der Pass zum registrieren verlangt, auch gab es keine Rechnung/Quittung. Der Fehler sei bei booking.

Nice, spacious room with large bathroom and balcony. A bit old-fashioned (which added some charm) but fully comfortable. Excellent big breakfast, including a cachupa with egg - a welcome energy boost before a day of hiking! Location in the centre of Assomada which is not exactly a beatiful town but has a purely local feel and an excellent location for hiking in the interior of the Santiago island. Some hikes are accessible on foot, some by taking an aluguer (minibus) - and the aluguer station is just a few steps away from Asa Branca. Some previous guests complained about street noise but we had a room at the back and it was quiet.

The adjacent restaurant was rather on the expensive side.

Well-placed hotel with clean and spacious rooms and great restaurant. Welcoming owners and lovely reception.

There is a big humidity in the rooms, all the items became wet overnight.
