De ligging is ideaal want je zit heel centraal ten opzichte van restaurants de markt en het museum.
Stefan en zijn vriendin zijn geweldige gastheer/ vrouw.
Je kunt er je was laten doen tegen een fatsoenlijk tarief, die heerlijk geurend terug komt.
Ik had een privé kamer op de bovenste verdieping, maar de twee dorms zagen er ook heel verzorgd uit. Ik had geboekt voor twee dagen, maar ben twee weken gebleven. Bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid!

Dobra lokalizacja, blisko do centrum, blisko do rzeki, bazarku, restauracji. Spokojna okolica.

I really enjoyed my time here. It’s the perfect place for backpackers and travellers perhaps looking for somewhere a little different than the chain hostels. Great for relaxing throughout the day; games of pool and deep conversations with interesting characters in the evenings.
I stayed in the newly-renovated dorm room which has brand-new (and very spacious) beds. The owners have installed air-conditioning, a small seating area and lockers which made for a safe, comfortable stay :)
There’s a handy convenience store very close and the hostel is located near to the riverside.
I took a Day Tour to see all of Battambang’s attractions - our driver (called ‘DJ’) was amazing; friendly, knowledgeable and always smiling. The tour featured the Bamboo Train, a few awesome temples, and of course the Batcave at sunset - simply unmissable. His two sons joined us for the ride; they’re great kids & it was so much fun to have them around for the day.
Both Annie & Stephan were incredibly helpful & friendly whenever I had a question or needed assistance with anything; Annie managed to organise my day tour only the night before. They were great hosts, and interacted with all guests to make sure they’re happy with everything. Not to mention they make the BEST Greek gyros outside of Athens… I ate 4 of them :-p

Cooler Dorm , Steckdosen mit USB direkt am Bett und ein kleines Regal . Toiletten waren sehr sauber und alles schien sehr neu.

I stayed at Ganesha 2 years ago. It was good but now it’s even better. The services are still flawless. Annie and Stephan organised everything for me. The dorm I used to stay is now newly renovated with an air conditioner but what I love the most is that they put a sofa and a table inside the dorm. Perfect for me as I have to work on my laptop.
I would stay at Ganesha again if I came back to Battambang!

The dorm is very spacious and there are only 5 beds. The location is right at the center. The owner and staff are very nice and they are there to help you with everything.

This is a super lovely place.
Every time I pass by I have to stay there as a must!
The hostel is located in a super convenient place, best coffee, cheap laundry, seconds away.
Great hosts, friendly and interesting to talk to plus if you get to be a decent human being to them do not be surprised to receive a free shot or beer even how much you try to not accept it they will insist and that's not to please but to have a decent human interaction.
Owners currently doing improvements all around as delicate as possible not interfere with people who stay at the place, is good as it is and it's getting better!

Great location and really helpful, kind staff, and driver DJ was excellent for trip to caves and to see the bats.
Everything was good but we booked a bus to Siem reap for $13 which turned out to be a local taxi which spent 75 minutes driving us around Battambang picking up and dropping off.

Really lovely place on the nicest street of Battambang, loved the outdoor area, great to chill there when it’s too hot to walk around. Amazing feta and pita bread!
the dorm room is really too hot! need some more standing fans because the ceiling fans aren’t enough

Great location and great bar with a pool table. We had a family room and it was great for myself and three kids. Owner is super helpful and kind and the location is perfect.

The vibe of the place and people who stay there.
They can provide every information about sightseeing in Battambang and the bus ticket for my next trip also free pick up form the guesthouse to the bus station !!

So-called double room was very small and stuffy , no A/C only totally antiquated (and loud!!) ventilator fan , also minimally furnished. Toilet fushing did not work so had to perform basic plumbing myself .Totally overpriced - moved to another hotel after 1 night and had a much bigger ,airier, cleaner and better equipped/furnished room and oaid less !!
Sorry - not to be recommended for rooms .
Dorms may be better value for money .

Both hosts are very nice and helpful, especially when you want to tour in Battambang (hint: if you want, ask for Rith, he knows a lot of the sights and is speaking perfect English). I felt very well and extended my stay at Ganesha's. I am 60+ years and that place was one of the better. Annie&Stefan, stay as you are

Good position. Don't go to bat cave by yourself with motorbike, it is not safe: Annie ,the owner, organize tuk tuk tour very well and cheap.

Bed is wide.
The woman who runs it, is nice, but that's almost it.
I don't understand why the review is so high.
The bed sheets are made out of a silk material which feels not nice on the body, especialy because it is super hot in the night and everybody is sweating a lot.
There are loads of mosquitos but no mosquito nets. The beds are wide, but the upper bed does not have a safety handle/reling or anything.
The one toilet did not flush in the morning the other one has a broken door.
One fan was broken, so they put an extra inside, which was still too little for the big room.
It all looks shabby.

Large and comfortable beds and affordable for backpackers looking to stay in a close to the centre location. Kind and helpful staff on arrival and departure.
Room suffers from the heat without air conditioning and curtains from blocking out the sun. Needs a few more fans for each bunk.

We loved our stay at Ganesha, the staff were lovely and so helpful, it had a lovely community atmosphere and the location was perfect.

No soap in the bathrooms, toilet rolls aren't replaced unless you ask. The dormitory is above the bar and there's noise until late.

Stayed here for 4 nights working remotely, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great location - right at the heart of Battambang historical centre, but also on a side street, so you don't hear the traffic. There are cafes, bicycle rentals and other tour agencies on the same street (convenient to buy a boat ticket to Siem Reap, or a ticket to the Phare).
The owners are lovely and helpful, and I was felt very much at home.

you get what you pay for. The bed was comfortable enough to get some good sleep.
The host was very intense. You get a feeling that he really endorse the place but he complains a lot about his quest. The hostess (his girlfriend) is nice.

The hostel is very chill (with a bit of music at night and smoking). The room is big and the beds are large. They provide a towel, which was really appreciated. It’s a basic place but is great for the price!
The hostel doesn’t really have a coziness about it. There aren’t any inviting places where you might sit and meet people. There’s a big pool table that takes up most of the hostel, which is great if that’s your vibe, but other than that it’s a place where you simply come to sleep. There’s no hot water and the bathrooms are quite basic (no hand soap).
