We stayed in a very comfortable and clean two bedroom apartment in the centre of Old Nice. Despite being in the middle of the action, the apartment was quiet.

It needed a toaster.

We couldn't have chosen better for our first visit to Nice. A €1.50/person tram ride to Pl Garibaldi and a 5 minute walk down the road to the apartment just off Pl Rossetti. Less than a 5 minute walk takes you to a fabulous selection of local restaurants and bars and you're right in the centre of the Vielle Ville to visit most of the tourist sites. We had a great time and if we return to Nice, we'll definitely try to get back into this property.

First time we've stayed in an apartment as opposed to a serviced apartment. The latter usually has a reception which services several apartments and has space for incoming guests to drop bags. Not a real problem - lots of businesses in Nice will hold your luggage if there's a gap between arrival and check-in/check-out and departure. Just an extra step to think about. I think the best one we found was The Bag Guys diagonally across Pl Rossetti from the apartment

We stayed at this Apt for 3 nights. The Apt is located in the old town of Nice and is surrounded with restaurants and bars. We just loved the location. If you come from the train station, tram 1 takes you to the outskirts of the old town (stop Cathedral) and you have to walk down the stairs and walk a bit (less than 3 mins) to get to the Apt. From the airport tram 2 takes you to near the old city and you can change over to tram 1 to get to the Apt. The massive wooden entry door is reminiscent of 17th century Nice. The Apt is on the 4th floor (USA standard) or 3rd floor (European). The staircase is a reminder of how the architecture use to be, then. The inside of the Apt is very tastefully done. One room has two single beds and the other a full bed (USA standard). All the beds very very comfortable and enough extra pillows & blankets are provided (if needed). The Apt comes with a washing machine. Clothes can be dried by using the tie lines outside the two living room windows. The bathroom is small, as expected but well designed. The lack of counter space is made up by space provided on a wooden trunk outside the bathroom. Each room also has enough closet space. The kitchen is well appointed with all necessary items like refrigerator, oven and microwave. The space does not allow a dishwasher as that space is better utilized to add a washing machine. All Nice attractions are within walking distance. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the charm and beauty of old Nice.
