Location to beach.

Room was like a dungeon. Moldy, dirty and noisy. The pool area was not clean. Nothing seemed sanitized. When we complained third day in a row. Manager did make it a little better by crediting back one night stay. Definitely put a damper on our vacation.

The location can’t be beat. About a block off the beach, on a path. Restaurants, bars, entertainment were all within walking distance. The property is lovely. I loved the layout of our suite. The suite is tucked up under stairs for the upstairs suites, so not much view, but the property is set up with multiple outdoor seating areas and is very pretty. We sat outside and almost felt like we were the only ones there. The pool was fantastic - clean, just the right temperature, with lovely landscaping all around. Check in and check out we’re a breeze. I would definitely stay at this property again.

No staff on property. Had to go to another location to check in and out. Power went out at 11:30p through the night, so no air conditioning or refrigerator, cell phone or wifi. To be fair there was a downed electric pole and 6000 people lost power. Hallway outside of room very musty! The room was ok, not great. You are paying for location.

Close to everything. And very close to beach.

Loved the location. Just a walk to several restaurants.

We were not able to have breakfast at the property. We stayed at the Georgianne inn.

Essentials in the room. We had 1/2 roll of toilet paper when we arrived and no extra one. We didn’t have a blanket on the bed just a sheet and coverlet. No hand towels. We called down to the Desoto and they sent someone over to bring us the items that should have been in the room. I realize that it was spring break but the noise from the upstairs guests was terrible.

The place was perfectly located with easy beach access. It was a quaint little beach hotel that was ideal for a short stay. The staff was beyond helpful and kind. The grounds were kept up nice and the room had everything we needed.

You could tell this was an older beach building because there was some moisture smell in the room. Some things could be updated. I also wish I knew I had to check in at a different location, not at the inn.

The property is beautiful and is within a short walking distance to the beach. The room had plenty of space for the two adults and three kids that stayed. We only stayed one night as we were traveling through, but definitely will be back in the future for a longer stay!

The property was clean and had some updates, only downfall is the unit could benefit from new carpet. Also, did not know to check in at Desoto Beach Hotel instead of the property.

I didn’t like having to check in and out all the way down at the Desota Hotel. the room smelled like a porta-potty, the carpet was damp and when I walked on it my feet turned black. The overall feel of the room was a humid musty basement. every time I walked into my room I was grossed out! The people above us had kids and you could hear them running and walking late at night and very early in the morning. super annoying!

Fairly roomy, clean.

In essence it was a basement room. Dark, few windows. The largest window looked out on a wall. The walkway accessing the room was piled with furniture, carpets, etc. Off season, so doing renovations, I guess? Otherwise the apt had a fair amount of space, clean aside from the bugs. Plenty of palmetto bugs. Again, off season, so treatments must have lapsed. Had to ask myself, if the room was so poorly located (a basement at the beach???) , putting us in the middle of a renovation, and not controlled for pests, why did they think it was OK to rent this to us? Had I known the circumstances in advance, there's no way I would have taken this. But we'd arrived late, the check in was distant, at another property blocks away...it was for just a night, so we toughed it out.

Tybee is a cute town.

My room had bedbugs and I was eaten alive. Do not stay at Georgianne Inn.

property was VERY dirty; showers and toilet needed repairs, pots , pans, dishes, silverware dirty! Lightbulbs now working! No operating instructions for any item in apartment but lots of instructions about “don’t do’s” . needs DEEP cleaning.
