the apartment was beautiful and spacious, amazing interior, very comfy bed and sheets, amazing view of ocean and palms, huge tv, nice location for restaurants

dirty shower, pillow with stains, you stay in museum which means the “attractivity” for tourists is more important than comfort of the guests - extremely loud roosters wake you up since 5 am + all night long you listen to sound of tube spilling watter to pond of fish

The interior is incredible, with high ceilings, lots of wood and beautiful books, one can easily do a photoshoot there. It feels huge. You can also walk in the park nearby and see the famous drago tree. We found a parking lot nearby, and the supermarket mercadona was just around the corner.

Suggestion, if I may: the entry ticket to the banana plantation and the museum could be a great bonus for the guests of the hotel.

Finding a parking space near the house was almost impossible but this is not a fault of the venue and was a problem throughout Tenerife.

this is a beautiful property that has lots of character and style. lt was way above my expectations. The facilities were modern and amply stocked and at night it was very dark and quiet providing a good nights sleep.

Maybe it’s usually warm at night in Tenerife but during our first week it was pretty cold. This property and the one we stayed at before don’t have heating but they did have a very big blanket to put over the bed….which fortunately I found in the drawer but hadn’t been mentioned anywhere.

Very spacious, clean, comfortable and full of character - high ceilings, traditional windows and window seats, wooden floors. Shared lounge overlooking gardens. Good location, very quiet town at night. Quite easy to park nearby.

Beautifull old building.

There were problems with the alarm. That seemed to come from our apartment. We cooked ourselves and the host said that was the problem. But otherwise we had a nice stay.

The hotel is located in a cute village. Communication was very smooth with the owner. The room was very nice. It is perfect for a couple gateway

Location is quite central in Icod, but can get very noisy as concerts and community events happen nearby.

Absolutely stunning in all aspects. This is an old banana plantation house transformed into a hotel. The owners kept most of the traditional style and materials which makes this place very special.

Super central and free on-street parking was very close to the apartment. Beautifully restored old Canarian family house with very high quality fitting in the bathroom etc. Not mentioned in the description was free hand soap, shower and body gel and washing up liquid as well as salt and pepper. We had a roof terrace which was superb.

Huge comfy bed but the duvet was not quite big enough to cover us and go edge to edge on the bed! Some of the streets in Icod, including the one where the apartment is situated, are very steep and not easy for people with bad knees or hips.

The property has been sympathetically renovated and has kept all the fantastic old features which create an authentic Spanish atmosphere. The rooms are very spacious, light and well equipped. Perfectly located for all of the main sights and restaurants, you literally cross the road to the main square. Please do not miss the banana museum below, very informative and again had a great atmosphere. We can highly recommend the property and would return in the future if we are in the area. Thanks.

one of the rooms above the fish tank was more chilly I can imagine in colder weather it can get quite cold.

Bathroom had a bit of a mildew smell - a bit to be expected in an old building but a shame all the same.

Place with a lot of character. Very confortable beds. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Laundry room available. Very nice reception from the host. The house is attached to a museum. All good things.

Very basic restaurants in the town. But if you have a car you can access easily really nice places.

Lovely historic house in the heart of Icod. Had a lovely stay, would come again.
