The location was brilliant

Was nothing to not like

The location was perfect. A beautiful old converted barn, in a nice location of the Lake District.

No outside lights, made the arrival very dangerous. The pathway was full of dog excrement that if I hadn’t had torch we would have stood in. The welcome was non existent. The overall ambiance was the place had seen better and more lucrative days. The room had no complimentary soaps or shampoo as promised. The bathroom had no toilet roll. The hallway was full of old suitcases. The keys were left under a plant pot and the front door was particularly difficult to unlock. There was no breakfast, which it offered on booking.com. When we arrived we had call someone who told he had a family emergency so we didn’t bother them.

The man will was fantastic could not do enough for us and his breakfast was fantastic 😊

So quite beautiful place bed was heavily warm

The tv didn’t do many channels to watch but that’s all

It was lovely to meet Will and he couldn't have been kinder to us weary travellers.

Had a fantastic stay, have been before and sure we’ll be back
