Wonderful Beach Cottage 1/10 Mile To The Beach
Herrliche 1940er 2 Schlafzimmer Strandhaus mit einer ganz neuen, sehr einzigartigen Wohnküche. Ein großer Speisesaal ermöglicht große Familienfeiern und Partys. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und gemütlich mit schönen Holzböden und einer abgeschirmten Veranda. Perfekte Lage zum Strand und Dorf. Außendusche mit heißem und kaltem Wasser wurde hinzugefügt, um den Sand wegzuwaschen. Wir erlauben Hunden und sie lieben den umzäunten Garten und sitzen auf der abgeschirmten Veranda. Perfekte Lage zum Strand und Dorf. Eine neuere Ergänzung ist die Außendusche mit heißem Wasser. 0. 1 Meilen zum Strand.

Great location close to the beach and the Village. Fenced yard is a bonus for those bringing their four legged family members. Outdoor shower is always a plus!

Great curb appeal, love the screened in porch, property was as described and was clean, beds are comfortable, house location to downtown and water is very walkable and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet and only thing that needs to be cleaned is the coffee machine otherwise we had a great time and would recommend this home and would stay here again.

Normany Cottage is a comfortable, well appointed beach house located in a quiet n'hood and convenient to the beach, Pier Village, numerous restaurants, the lighthouse and museum. We will stay there again and have already recommended it to friends.

Perfect week away with our family of 3 plus 1 dog. Very walkable to beach on a quiet street. Plenty of puzzles and games to keep us occupied at night.Another bonus was the walkability to lots of restaurants, brewery, ice cream, and shopping. The house is clearly a pet-friendly place which was great for us. I would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was clean, a fenced yard for our fur babies was truly a blessing. So convenient to the beach, restaurants, downtown and the lighthouse area. Cannot think of one thing I would change. Just a great place at an unbelievable price.

This was our first visit to SSI and we wanted to stay somewhere walkable to the beach, food, etc. The Normandy cottage was the perfect place for myself, my fiancé, and our dog. We all loved the large screened in porch for morning coffee and the outdoor shower after the beach, as well as the fenced in yard. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, clean, with plenty of room to relax. We’ll be back for sure!

We were last minute deciding where to go. Love SSI anyway, and the Normandy Cottage was perfect for us. Nicely furnished, great communications from Emmons, very comfortable beds, nice ourdoor shower. The main draw though was the location. Literally a block+ walk to the beach. Plus the public access we used had parking for vehicles and golf carts. We walked to restaurants each evening, too.

We loved our stay at Normandy Cottage. It was perfect!! Proximity to the beach and village was just right. Realty company was very responsive to a small issue that did not effect our stay at all. I’ve always stayed at East Beach condos but no more. We loved the neighborhood and will be back. Hopefully soon.

Our family had a wonderful visit in this charming cottage. We enjoyed staying in an historic, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed home, nestled peacefully among live oaks. When rains kept us indoors, it was a pleasure to just sit and enjoy the house and its screened porch. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first visit to SSI, and we were very happy with our accommodations at Normandy Cottage. I was thrilled to find a place we could bring our 2 dogs, and having a fenced in backyard with an outdoor shower to clean them off after the beach was wonderful. I loved that while the house has been updated with modern amenities, it still had 1940's cottage charm. It was more spacious than I anticipated, and the screened-in front porch was a very nice feature we enjoyed. The house was very clean and well-maintained with comfortable furniture, all the needed kitchen basics, and nice towels in the bathroom (that sounds minor, but it matters!). Emmons was great to work with, and the house was less than a 5-minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking to the beach as well as the Village for dinner each night that offers a plethora of restaurants. The house is on a very quiet street surrounded by beautiful mature trees, and we felt very safe there. We'll definitely be back!

I've rented this cottage for many years and return each year because of it's great location (a few blocks from the beach and village) but mainly because it's comfortably appointed, is well maintained, clean, great cook-in kitchen and feels like home. Emmons Realty has always been responsive to questions etc. Highly recommend Emmons and renting Normandy Cottage.

The inside of the cottage was nice and clean. This rental accepted dogs and had a fenced in yard. It was walkable to the beach if you were not carrying a lot of beach accessories. The beach was terrific—dogs allowed during certain months and very wide and walkable during low tide ‘Emmons Reality was very helpful when the only bathroom’s sink clogged up. They sent a repair man right away and were very nice to work with. Also, their communication was everything you needed while in the rental. The cons—-the outside and patio areas were in need of some tender loving care. The blind on the front door was completely falling apart and hanging off the door These items are all things that could be easily taken care of to make this rental more appealing. St. Simons was a great place to visit.

The location was perfect! 10 minute walk to pier, shops, and beach. The house is very dark and dreary inside, needs some updates. The beds and fans were in rough shape. The back yard and front porch was dirty. We were a little disappointed. The photos made it look so much nicer than it really is.

The house is in a great location, and is too cute! However, it could be a little cleaner. Maybe a fresh coat of paint would make a world of difference too. The baseboards just seemed very stained and dirty. The main rug in the living room could have used a deep cleaning too! We loved the screened in porch! Great place to sit with our pup!

This beach cottage is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to East Beach and 15 minutes to Mallory St. The house is clean and well stocked with a perfect fenced yard for my dog. The outdoor shower and garden hose is convenient for getting the sand off me and my dog. I arrived after dark and the lit lamp in the screened in porch and solar path lights were welcome when negotiating a black dog, steps, and the combo lock. I will be back again for another visit!

Cottage was in a great location to the Beach! You can walk to it, but you can also drive with parking spots right at Beach. You are also close to good restaurants. The cottage is decorated so cute & very clean.

Stayed at Normandy Cottage from July 28th thru the 31st. Great place. Great location. Had our 2 Ausie Labradoodles w us. Walked them on the beach everyday. Beach was right across the street. Walked to shops and restaurants. Just wonderful. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

I have rented Normandy Cottage many times. It feels like home away from home to me because it's so comfortable, great for my dog with a fenced yard, and walking distance to the beach and Village.
