Über diese hausUnterkunft
Wunderschön umgebaut und sonnendurchflutet 800 s. f. Bergmannskabine.

Stayed here for a week as we skied some of Lake and Summit County. Great location, very clean, and lots of kitchen supplies vs other rental places I’ve stayed. We accidentally got over charged by $30 and owner took care of it. Will probably try to stay here again.

Came up for the Fat Bike World Championships and wanted a place close to all the stuff on Harrison Ave. This place was just what I was looking for.

This spot is just so, so cozy with a historic feel and great proximity to shops and restaurants. The beds were comfy with lots of extra blankets around and a really well equipped kitchen. We just loved our stay here and will be trying to book this spot every time we come to ski at Cooper!

Beautiful cabin perfectly located! Everything is as stated or better! From the cabin we commuted to Copper Mountain and explored some cross country skiing tracks… Great time!

I loved my stay at this beautifully restored older home just steps from the main street of Leadville! The house has many historic touches, as well as all the modern amenities (such as a big bathroom with wonderful shower, and modern kitchen that's fully equipped and outfitted.) Though very close to the heart of town, the location was very quiet. The owner was helpful and speedy in her responses. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

This delightful home was perfectly located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Leadville! I loved all the history evident in this old miner’s cottage. Fabulous stay!

We had some difficulty getting lockbox open to get house key but maybe it was just us. It was easy to get in touch with homeowner. Caretaker brought over a fan immediately when we told her one of the two was not working. She also explained about the adjustable window screens in each bedroom to get in the cool night air. This completely updated, spacious and comfortable old miner's home was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the neighborhood, the short walk to the main street and visiting the many interesting historical sites in Leadville.

Mother, daughter and 17-mos granddaughter. Loved the cottage, and loved its proximity to downtown Leadville and its restaurants, etc. Easy drives to pleasant hikes. Also a lovely (2 hour) drive to Aspen and day at Maroon Bells (make a shuttle reservation!).
Our first time to Leadville and may be back. Host’s local manager, Brandi, was lovely and helpful.

Excellent accommodations for two guys on a ski trip. The house could have also slept 2 kids in the loft. Great location in a fun little town, about 50 minutes from Keystone, Vail and Breck.
The Property was great and the town was fun.

Perfect base for our little getaway. The location was the best for strolling around town, hitting the Mineral Belt Trail, or heading up to Tennessee Pass/Cooper. The cottage was clean, well-appointed, and cozy. And a shout out for the robes! In my opinion, one of the easiest ways to elevate a stay is with a comfy robe. A very nice touch, especially after a long ski day. Thanks!

Nice place to stay. Just 15-20 minutes from Cooper Mountain. Store is close by. If you have kids just bring your iPad and games.

This adorable, historic home is just within walking distance of the Main Street Auth lots of shops and restaurants. Cute houses all around. This house had comfortable couches and beds, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and awesome bathroom. The only complaint we have is the need for fans in the rooms. There was one fan for one of the bedrooms but not for the other. It was unseasonably higher temps when we were there but got a great breeze when the front and back door was open. If we go back to Leadville, we will stay there again! Just with an extra fan :)

The house and furnishings are basic, good for touring the town, which can be done in an afternoon. Had to rewash glasses before use, so pretty basic. Beds are good for a couple nights, but probably uncomfortable for a longer stay.

What a great property! We loved all of the historic touch in the house (door handles, etc) but yet it had all the modern experiences. As a mom I LIKED that there was not a TV and forced more quiet time. Although when needed the provide internet access was fantastic.
The location is killer as well, so convenient to be able to just walk to Leadville's cute downtown!

Family of 4, college age children and parents. Stay was overall good due to the town and all the winter activities. Some tips before you book this place: 1) There is no TV in this home. We went to WalMart and purchased Roku TV and returned it after our stay. (2) If you plan to do any cooking, bring your own cookware. The stuff provided is extremely limited and what is available is 20 years past it’s use date. (3). The bath-tub has cracks all over it, which is kind of gross thinking about it, but the hot water tank is not large enough to heat half a tub full, so not useful anyway. Can’t really be used to soak. The shower has some shady plumbing but works. (4) If you are blessed to have the power go out like us, there are no extra blankets (but 1200 extra sheets) and the homeowner tells you that you are not allowed to light candles or light the wood stove to keep warm. There were no flashlights or other emergency equipment in the home for this scenario. Bring your own extra blankets and flashlights. (5) The neighbor is confrontational. When you park take pictures because the homeowner will be sure to interrupt your vaca to ask you to park somewhere else instead of dealing with their neighbor. Suggestion for the owner is to Tell the neighbor to call the cops and ticket me if we are parked illegal. You won’t be ticketed because you are not parked illegally! He will however come out and accost you and your children when you come/go. (6) It would be recommended for a service to come and do snow removal on the porch and side walk when you have guests booked, and get a water proof mat for the front entryway. If we had to do it over, we would have went with a slightly more expensive property that had better services, accommodations, and no crazy neighbors. The town itself is great, loved spending New Years at Scarlet Tavern with all the KC fans. Tons to do, and we will be back in the Spring, just not at this home. It could be good, but they are just looking for a quick buck, and not doing anything to make it accommodating for guests.

We had a great time and appreciated the location and the walking proximity to the LT100 race and to the downtown restaurants and shops. Some small details could be improved (kitchen sponge, bathroom soap dish) but our overall experience was cozy, neighborly, and perfect for a home base of Leadville outdoor adventures.
