The house needs work. It appears that they started working on the house, but never finished; walls patched, but not painted, no toilet paper holders, floors warped, carpets are dirty. The beds are very uncomfortable. The kitchen items are lacking, microwave needs to be replaced. The bathrooms sinks leak

Kitchen needs upgrade in microwave. Need a space on the ground for eating and drinks especially with 5 bedrooms a lot of people on deck. Can’t really walk to beach with families but that’s ok. It was very comfortable in the house for all of us. Thank you for caring Ellie Pagell

We have a large family and this home had plenty of room for all of us. Easy walk to the beac. The fireworks were spectacular. We especially appreciated the individual air conditioners in each room so every person could have the temperature they wanted.

The stay was fine with the exception of small bugs in the first floor and kitchen. Food did get into some food. AC filters needed to be cleaned, which we did. Toilet seats needed tightening.

We always stay in this great neighborhood as its close to the beach. This house needs a good cleaning inside and out and some basic home maintenance. There was a leaky faucet, loose floorboards on the deck and a broken spindle on the inside stairs. It was also missing some basics you would expect in a rental- no hangers in the closets and limited places to hang towels.

Short drive to beach. Nice quiet street. Great location and also short drive to Pier area. Lots of space in the home and backyard. Good sized deck.

The house we booked was good. It lacked some of the warmth and charm we've gotten used to over the years from other homes we've rented in this neighborhood. The kitchen drawers could have used some organization. And it lacked some of the basics ie mixing/salad bowls.
But overall, the house was clean. The management company kept us updated as to when some workers were going to be at the house to do some maintenance repairs. The outside of the property looked a bit rundown. But you cant beat being close to the beach, not far from Newport & Block Island. We will stay in this area again next year.

This house had a nice layout and plenty of room to spread out. We loved the location and neighborhood. Much of the usual rental kitchen supplies were lacking but we managed. There was some general upkeep that was also lacking but when we reached out to the rental agency they were very responsive.

The house is in a great location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. House was good size and fit our family comfortably. Having access to the garage was also convenient. Check in process also was smooth.

Great house and location
The layout of the house and the upstairs bedrooms were great. Spacious living room and kitchen. The location was great but I wouldn’t say a “short walk” to the beach. One of the bedrooms downstairs was dark, the air conditioner was loud, not as nice as the others. That being said, we would rent this house again.

Great family vacation house!
We loved our experience in this house-there was room enough for all of our family and the beach was just a short walk away. The house was equipped for 3 generations as well as dogs, and we all had a great time! Pluses included the outdoor shower , yard for kids and lovely, quiet neighborhood for walks and scooter riding. Our property manager, Carly, was very prompt and helpful. We would stay here again and thank you!

Quiet neighborhood about a 10-15 minute all from Scarborough
Correspondence with the property owner was easy and quick. We had to change our dates and Carly was super accommodating.

Expected more
The external house and property needed work; there was trash under the shrubs, the gas grill was horrible, the very steep deck stairs needed lights and the deck and siding are rotting and need paint job. The size of the house was nice with all of the bedrooms but the dryer did not work properly, there was no garbage disposal or faucet spray, the microwave is very small and the vacuum didn’t work.

Property pictures for this rental were clearly several years old and a lot of wear and tear has occured since then. House had a damp, musty smell. The couches and throw pillows were well worn and dirty. Bedrooms downstairs were not usable as one A/C was loud, and there was a loud, high pitched sound which the source couldn't be located.

4th of July Week
Always love staying for the week, the best is during July 4th, 360 view of fireworks everywhere. Location of property was perfect, allowed us to walk to beach everyday! Loved the garage, as it was nice to just roll in the beach gear for the next morning. Nice big yard and overall house was very spacious. 3 bathrooms and large bedrooms were nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Did not meet our expectations
The neighborhood is adorable and it’s approx. one mile to Scarborough Beach, which is nice. We were not expecting a showstopper house, but it did not meet our expectations. The furniture is poor (very uncomfortable mattresses on metal frames, old dressers/lamps, etc.). The house was also missing many basics that we’d expect from a beach house and resulted in a huge inconvenience, including patio umbrellas, salt/pepper shakers, large bowls (there were none), and bath mats. Throughout our week, the power went out numerous times, and we discovered a burning outlet in a bedroom. An exterminator also stopped by to check the mousetraps. Cleanliness was lacking. The property manager was very responsive and apologetic, but we were very disappointed with the rental.

Location was perfect!!!
This house was in a family friendly neighborhood and it was close to everything!! The house was spacious with a large backyard which we enjoyed playing corn hole. While the house could use updates- it was spacious and comfortable. We had a terrific week, me, my kids and my parents. Even our small dog loved being on vacation with us! Easy check in and check out with multiple house keys for our group to share was a plus.

Good location but needs improvement
Booking and communication with property management was great. We received detailed information on how they were dealing with COVID-19, etc. Check in was simple. However, we were greatly disappointed in the quality of the cleaning and the quality of the house when we arrived. We expected the house to be spotless, especially due to the pandemic. The house did not feel clean at all. Additionally, the stools for the breakfast bar were so loose that I wouldn't let the kids sit in them because I was afraid they'd break. There was also a broken dining room chair that was unusable. The deck was very cramped with too much furniture and there was no umbrella so it was impossible to sit outside during the day in the heat. The dryer also did not properly dry clothes and we had to hang most of them outside. The location of the house is wonderful, but it needs to be cleaned and have some upgrades. Definitely didn't feel like it was worth the money we paid, unfortunately.

Summer vacation

August 2019 - Family Vacation
We have stayed in Narragansett numerous times but this was the first time in this property and neighborhood. The house was exactly as listed with plenty of space, inside and out. It was clean and all appliances worked without problems. It had sufficient cooking utensils. The pluses certainly were the size of the home (5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, plus outside shower), location (easy 15-20 min walk to the beach), the outside deck and yard, and the ability to bring our dog. I would recommend this home for vacation rental without hesitation. and hope to return next year.

Family vacation
The property as adequate and as described. I was concerned about the comfort of the beds but they were perfect. There was a heat wave during our stay so we really appreciated having the AC. The walk-in showers are tiny so be prepared.

Even though it was an older property, the house was very clean and the neighborhood was quite. It was only a 15 minute walk or a short drive to the ocean.

Very disappointed with the maintenance of the home prior to our arrival
This is a spacious home in proximity to Scarborough Beach (less than half a mile). For the most part, this house is roomy and comfortable for a big family, but I was disgusted to find stained bedcover in the master bedroom and a dirty moldy bathroom curtain in the master bathroom. Besides these items the house was advertised as having central air which it doesn't have. Additionally, the second bathroom on the first floor was falsely advertised because the wall was not painted the light cover was missing. Also, the rugs in the two bedrooms upstairs were substantially stained. Lastly, the cleaning company did a lousy job dusting because there were cobwebs and spiders in the wall corners and on some of the painting. If you are going to charge for cleaning the house before you arrive then please do so.

A great find!
We really enjoyed our stay at this great house! Especially as a last minute rental for us . It has loads of room, clean and is in a wonderful neighborhood, great for biking or taking a walk. It's only a 2 minute drive to Scarborough beach (or a 15 minute walk ) which makes the location ideal. What was really nice was that some toiletries were already available when we arrived, like toilet paper, dish liquid, laundry detergent. The laundry facility was a huge bonus and we loved the outdoor shower. The deck is large and the yard is extremely private, perfect for our 2 dogs that we were thrilled we could take along with us. We would definitely return for another stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was furnished and equipped nicely. We particularly enjoyed the 3rd bathroom attached to the master bedroom and the deck and gas grill.

Family Vacation
My family and I found this house to be very comfortable and spacious! The private backyard and deck were great ! The house has many "homelike" amenities" and is in a great location! We hope to be returning next summer!

Perfect Getaway for Quiet and Fun
This house is so close to all the action and yet because it has an empty lot next door and a huge back yard it is very private. We stayed last year and walked to the beach and even restaurants right near the beach.Many of the houses around us weren't rented and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Two miles down the road is a great amusement park for the kids that was prefect for when the kids were tired of the beach.The management company was super responsive when we needed anything. I'd definitely return this year if my kids school didn't start so early!

This house is awesome in August!
I stayed at this house last August and it was perfect for us. We were able to have a real get away before heading back to the fall grind. The area is quieter toward the mid- end of August and yet the weather is awesome and beaches are beautiful with warm water and fine sand.the house is spacious and bright and accommodated our large extended family. There's great fishing and golf nearby too.
I highly recommend it! I wish I could back myself.

Excellent Vacation House Near the Beach
Perfect getaway where you don't have to drive. With this house it's walking to the beach and riding bikes to the park. We went with another family and had space for 4 adults and 4 kids, no problem. Open garage is fun play area for the kids and large yard works great for kick ball and wiffle ball.
We are definitely planning another vacation at this house. For the price you can't beat it!
