I can't express enough how grateful I am for this family opening up their piece of paradise with all of us! We made so many amazing memories here. The house is big, beautiful and very comfortable with all the amenities you need to enjoy! The veiw from the master bedroom is breath taking. Waking up hearing the waves and opening up my eyes to beautiful Lake Michigan first thing in the morning was my favorite part of our stay. My family didn't want to leave and are already asking if we can go back next year. ❤️

This place provides a wonderfully excluded escape with a home including all the anemities of home. Right off the lake with plenty to do both indoors and outdoors.

Lovely house in a GREAT location. Rooms are spacious, lots of amenities. We loved the fire pit and experienced the best sunset I’ve ever seen across the bay. We found handfuls of Petoskey stones. Close to both Charlevoix and Petoskey, and close to lots of great golf. Hope to be back next year!

Beautiful lake property situated between Petoskey and Charlevoix. We enjoyed the access to the trail for walking and riding bikes…the house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor space was pure Michigan…the deck, fire pit and the beautiful shoreline…thank you for a great weekend stay!

Had trouble getting into property. Attempted to contact owner with 2 phone numbers for help. He did not answer nor did he return messages during our entire stay! After much trouble we got the lock box open and got inside. Bed sheets on most beds had dirt on them and clearly had not been washed since previous guests. Entire house was dirty inside and out, lots of cobwebs around windows inside. Microwave and stove were particularly dirty. TV was basically worthless. No local channels and no live tv without some sort of login which we did not have. Cabinets and drawers were cluttered with personal items. My friends and I have rented many properties over the last few years and have never experienced anything close to this bad. I would never recommend this property to anyone!

We had a great time. Quiet on end of road in a very nice, safe neighborhood. Right on beautiful Lake Michigan.
Rocky shore private beach where you can find all kinds of Petosky and Charlevoix stones. Owners left kayaks and bikes to use. We loved kayaking Place is only a short distance from a very scenic 26 mile long bike path. House is very close to other fun beaches, restaurants and other things to do
The house is modern, clean and bright inside with all the great windows. Lots of outdoor space with fire pit and Adirondack chairs.

This was our 3rd stay at the property. Glorious sunsets & sunrises on beautiful Lake Michigan! Rock hunting, campfires and nature abound made for a wonderful family gathering. The property is private and spacious. Beds are comfortable and plenty of room for everyone.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and serene, the house is very accommodating. It has the exact feel that an up north rental should. Owners were so easy to work with, and check in/out was simple.

My husband, our two children and 4 grandchildren stayed at this property in Bay Shore between Charlevois and Petoskey. We had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the house, the location and many of the included ameneties: kayaks and bicycles. We did not have warm weather during our stay, so I cannot comment on swimming at this location. However, we did go down to the lake and collect rocks (many Petoskey stones) and kayak. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful weekend at the house! We were with three couples and there was plenty of room for all of us. There were kayaks and bikes to use and plenty of room to play games and enjoy time together. We also appreciated the firewood so that we could enjoy a campfire. The location was wonderful on the lake. It's close to Petoskey and Charlevoix so a lot to see and do. We certainly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing and comfortable place to reconnect with old friends we hadn't seen in many years. It provided the perfect quiet place at "the end of the road" situated in the cool woods yet on the shore to watch sunsets, stars at night and just listen to the waves together. The home provided wonderful places to sit for meals and around a camp fire for smores. An older property but adequately maintained, lots of kitchen gear and comfortable beds for restful sleep. Great memories made here.

There was enough space and room for everyone. Found petosky stones walking the beach.
Bob gave a great overall of different places to go in the area and communicated quickly if we had any questions.

We are thankful we stayed in this lakefront property in a quiet neighborhood with private beach and clones to bike trial. Host was promptly responsive when I had a few questions. Host offered use of bikes and kayaks as well as corn hole, board games etc. would stay there again!

Fantastic location on the bay for relaxing with nice outside space and views of the lake. Of course, Michigan mosquitos can be an issue but that's just part of the nature. At end of street with other good homes so felt very comfortable. Only issue is that one TV is a Roku stick and the other Amazon fire stick. No local channels for football, baseball, etc. if you are gathering for something like that. We had to go to a local chain for an NFL game which was somewhat disappointing but if that is the "worst" think about our trip, I'd call that a real WIN!! The host is the BEST! Very helpful and responsive. He could not be any more helpful.

This large house, located on a rocky beach at the end of a cul de sac, is an ideal getaway for those craving Northern Michigan life. The place is well-equipped and has a warm feel. Grab a beverage, relax into an Adirondack chair, and enjoy the campfire!

This home exceeded our expectations and then some. The location is perfect, we enjoyed the beach, the kayaks, the bicycles, the amazing sunsets, our evenings around the fire pit. The home was so spacious and well appointed. I am so grateful to Bob and his family for opening their beautiful home to our family.

This place has all the room, views, and amenities you could ask for. They really have thought of everything. Watching sunsets right on Lake Michigan, a short drive to elite golf courses, and to Petoskey or Charlevoix.

We had an amazing time for our 10th annual girls weekend!! The location was perfect and having basically our own private beach was a huge bonus. We didn’t leave the property besides a couple of runs to the store, but had we chosen to do any day trips into Petosky or Charlevoix this location is perfect and just minutes from either city!

The location of this property and the views of the sun setting over lake Michigan are beyond words, but the property is run down and needs at least a good deep cleaning and some improvements. Especially things like loose floor boards on the stairs that are trip and fall hazards need to be addressed. Other things that aren't really dangerous, but annoying are shower doors that are broken, patio screen door that's off it tracks and general messes all over. These issues just made our experience less than it could have been. We're glad we were there and the area is lovely, but the property definitely needs some work.

My jaw dropped when I walked through the door. While this home may need some shining up here and there, none of that matters when you look outside. The view is breathtaking. It's really quite private, quiet, and loaded with choices on how to enjoy it. The home is loaded with everything you need and more....emphasize the MORE! So many surprises from all the items offered for use in the garage to a very special room for toddlers. My family - ranging in age from 7 to 55 - had a wonderful, wonderful time. Comfy furniture, clean, tasteful decorations, and easily maintained temperature even on the hottest day. The photos do not do it justice but it's a good way to try to keep this little gem a secret. We will be back!!!
