Für 2018 heißen wir Sie und Ihre Lieben auf der 7J Ranch willkommen. Die 7J Ranch ist ein 4000 Quadratmeter großes, zweistöckiges Haus auf 1,6 Hektar eingezäuntem Grundstück. Es liegt eingebettet in den Ausläufern des Mingus-Berges und unser 60-Fuß-Deck bietet einen Blick auf Sedonas Rote Felsen. Sie können beobachten, wie sie sich im Laufe des Tages im Sonnenlicht ändern, von einem düsteren Rot am Morgen bis zu fast Lila bei Sonnenuntergang.

The property was wonderful! Michael was very helpful in suggesting things to do and even provided flowers and birthday card for my wife and daughter. The scenery was spectacular. We had a wonderful time.

We loved our stay at the 7J in Cottonwood. We were a group of 20, 16 adult and 4 kids. First of all we do check for cleanliness as we have stayed places that have not been that clean but the 7J was spotless.
The layout of the house was perfect for us. The kitchen large enough to handle a lot of people crowding around the island. The folks who went to bed early didn’t hear the loud chatter or cheers from the group who played several late night rounds of Left, Right, and Center. The pool was a welcome relief from the searing heat.
We spent some time in Sedona. The drive did not feel burdensome and it was nice to escape the hustle and bustle of Sedona by staying in the quiet outlying area of Cottonwood. The location felt very private.
Michael was our host and I cannot say enough good things about him. He provided lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. He checked in daily to make sure our stay was going well. We had a couple of things we needed Michael’s help with and he was super responsive. We were greeted with fresh flowers and a bottle of wine on the dining room table, fresh baked goods on the kitchen counter, and a few essentials in the fridge!
If our travels bring us back that way, we will definitely stay there again. Or at any other place Michael hosts.

My family and I were looking for a place that was big enough to accommodate 6 families for a weekend. This place was absolutely perfect! There was enough space for everyone to mingle and have fun. The bunk house was great because all the kids slept in there together while the adults took the bedrooms. There were plenty of restrooms and showers as well. The highlight was definitely the pool, the kids got to swim during the day while the adults used the jacuzzi in the evening. Michael was such a great host and super attentive. He made sure everything was ready to go leading up to our stay and made sure we were taken care of during the duration of our stay. Michael also left a nice bottle of wine and flowers upon our welcome, so thoughtful! I will absolutely stay here again in the future and I recommend it for large families with lots of kids.

The property was outstanding and the Michael, The Host, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. We booked this property so that our family could be under one roof to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Michael had a cake made and ready as a surprise to my mom. He also left a nice card for her and made sure she was the one being celebrated. Every recommendation for outing events, food, and leisure were more than amazing. We look forward to booking this location again.

Where do I start? First off the house is absolutely gorgeous, it turned out to be even better then the pictures and it has some of the best views in the valley. We were coming from out of town to have our wedding and invited a bunch of friends and family to enjoy our gathering, so I needed a place that could entertain all ages and this place checked all the boxes. I asked Michael (the host) if he could help with a few things to prepare our special day and without hesitation he was more then willing to! He ended up helping out with parking and water proofing the deck making sure we had a dry area to be outside just in case it rained. He ended up helping us in many ways, so we invited him to stay. He was such a blessing to have there with us and it felt like he was part of the family. The house was extremely clean and well put together. Check in was really convenient and well managed. He even gave us extra time to check out, which was much needed. The location of the house was in a nice peaceful neighborhood. After searching all different websites this house turned out to be not only the best price, but also the best choice we could’ve made. The house and experience turned out to be way better then we thought! Michael always responded to my messages right away and was always helpful in any concerns I had. Michael also recommended different activities that everyone enjoyed. We all highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back to enjoy in the future!

The property manager Michael was more than accommodating! They have a compassionate touch to their management that made our stay even more memorable! We were celebrating a family reunion with approximately 16 kids and adults.. The house was perfect!! The kids and adults were able to coexist without any problems! The kids lived in the pool, ate, slept, and enjoyed each other for the whole weekend and the adults loved it! The property size is perfect for larger gatherings while still feeling very much like home. Thank you, Michael for the amazing experience and can’t wait to stay again!

Perfect location to Sedona, Jerome, Prescott, Phoenix. We spent a full week in the house with 20 guest. Pool and hot tub was great, grocery stores close by, hiking trails 30 mins away,plenty of restaurants too. Host was wonderful.Michael went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Highly recommend.

Our stay at 7J's Ranch in May 2024 was fabulous!! First of all, our host, Michael, was wonderful and so accommodating. He was always available if we had any question or needed anything. The property is awesome. You walk in the front door and the view of the valley you see out the back windows is breathtaking! The first words out of my husband's month were " We should book this for our next get together." The beauty of the morning sunrises is magnificent. The house itself is laid your very well to accommodate many people comfortably.
I highly recommend staying at 7J's Ranch.
Plus, there were many fun things to explore in the area. One of our favorites was going to the little town of Jarome.

We hade a wonderful stay here. The pictures do not do this house justice. Michael was a great host and attended to any issues or questions quickly.
The only negative was really a misunderstanding on our part..we didnt realize thay the hours we requested the jacuzzi be heated the pool woulnt be.

Friends wanted to get away and relax with each other. This place did exactally that! It is a beautiful spacious house and grounds. It was well stocked for us that many other VRBOs don,t provide. The manager, Michael, was very helpful with information about the area and went to great lengths to make sure we had everything we needed. There were even little surprises that we weren,t expecting! The pool and hot tub were nice and relaxing. We took the Verde River train ride and shopped at the many speciality shops, but there is alot more to see and do it the area. Would definatley stay there again!

This property worked very well for our sibling reunion as it had plenty of space and accommodations for our group. Michael, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! One of our highlights was the amazing view from the top deck! ❤️

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with writing this review. I had the most wonderful weekend and most wonderful experience. The property is absolutely gorgeous and you have an amazing view from the upper patio where you can see some of Sedona’s red rocks.
My now husband and I came across this property while looking for homes that would allow us to hold our wedding ceremony/reception. I sent the message and we crossed our fingers while we waited for a response. We were so thrilled to see they were willing to allow us to hold everything at their beautiful home.
The home owner was the most helpful and most involved host I have ever had and that truly helped relieve a TON of stress. He offered suggestions for everything we were still pending. He offered to help us set up, and even helped organize parking for guests and all.
This was a truly amazing weekend and I’m thankful for how everything went. I’m thankful we came across this beautiful home and were able to host such a wonderful event here. Thank you to the amazing home owners for their wonderful hospitality and for making this so important for myself and Husband. You guys were amazing!

The house is beautiful and large enough for groups. Overall it was pretty clean. The washer and dryer didnt work very well but everything else was good. There is a lot to do in the area. Make sure you take the train through the Verde Valley while you are there it was awesome!

EXCELLENT house for parties of 8 or more. Exceptionally clean; very spacious and well designed layout. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for large groups. The pool, hot tub and outdoor fireplace are ideal for relaxing. Both decks, upper and lower, are inviting and have plenty of chairs plus picnic tables for outdoor eating. A pool table downstairs and the ping pong table and cornhole boards outside on the lower deck are an added bonus.
Michael, the home caretaker, was very responsive to any and all communication and needs.
Just wish we could have stayed longer!

What a wonderful place to stay to celebrate Grandpa’s 80th birthday with our children and grandchildren and Great grandchildren! Our family of 18, ages 10 to 90, had a wonderful time! When first walking through the door, the view is absolutely breathtaking. The house was spacious and very clean with a well-stocked kitchen utensil, pots & pans, plates, glasses. Plenty of comfortable beds. The Hot tub was heated late afternoons and thoroughly enjoyed. The upper deck was great morning and evening for our group to hang out together. Kids and adults enjoyed the fireplace, pool table, cornhole game and ping pong table. Micheal went out of his way to make sure our needs were met and very generous with making sure we had plenty of firewood for the beautiful fireplace.
We also enjoyed the surrounding area, exploring the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Cottonwood, and Jerome.

This was an amazing stay from booking to checkout. The manager was attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our niece felt celebrated for her birthday from the moment she stepped in the house. He checked in to make sure our needs were met and to make sure the pool and hot tub were at appropriate temperatures. The house was beautiful and just lovely. It fit the whole family and was just lovely. Loved the views and the location. We will definitely be coming back again!

We were family and friends celebrating the life of our husband, father, stepfather, grandpa and friend. The setting and accommodations were more than adequate. Michael saw to our every need and was readily available if needed.

We had the absolute best time staying here for MLK weekend! There were 20 of us and we fit very comfortably! We surprised a friend that moved down to Arizona about two years ago :). The house was huge, beautiful, and clean. The area had so much to do and great food and drinks! We will definitely be back! The property manager was also the most accommodating person ever!

We rented this house and charged over $3900. For a week. We arrived at 5:30pm check in was 5:00pm. When we arrived the cleaning crew had left wet sheets in the dryer and dirty sheets etc in the hamper. Joe said he would get them right on it . They never showed up. There was NO toilet paper or paper towels except what was on the rolls. We security lock was changed without notice to us. Joe could change it remotely and we enter soon. Then there was a monsoon and the roof leaked big time. It ran down the walls into a bedroom and soaked the carpet. Joe had a carpet cleaner come but they clean the carpet not extract water. Needless to say the carpet smelled and was smelling thru out the house. One of our families had to leave early. One couple asked for a two day refund which we got but for all the inconvenience and lack of being able to enjoy our vacation he should have offered us 50 - 100%. . The water was turned off for a couple of hours without us being notified.

This place was amazing, Joe was very helpfull through out my booking, Joe was very generous with letting me check in early. We had 10 people in our stay, but could of had about 6 more, house is huge and has amazing views. Only downfall was the pool needs an upadete and would of prefered the jacuzzi would be turn on (hot water) at our own discretion other than 6pm-10pm (hot water only) and bubble didnt work, other than that this was a great stay and would stay here again in the future, would also recommend to family and friends.

Our family of 19, ages 12 to 89, had a wonderful time! When we first walked through the door, the view was breathtaking, better than the photos. Everything was very clean and worked. Well-stocked kitchen utensils, pots & pans, plates, glasses etc. Comfortable beds, and plenty of pillows and towels. Fun pool toys, pool temperature perfect. Hot tub heated late afternoons was all we needed. Outside upper deck was great morning and evening gathering space for our group. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool table, cornhole game and ping pong table. We also enjoyed the surrounding area: hiking, kayaking, Montezuma Castle & Well, swimming in Beaver Creek, exploring Sedona and Jerome. A memorable family reunion. Thank you, Joe!

There were 9 of us in our group ranging from 6-76 years old. This house was perfect for the size of our group. The house was very convenient to Sedona, Jerome and Downtown Cottonwood. We also made the trek up to the Grand Canyon.
There are some finishes that could have been done better and some needed maintenance. We wish there had been a book like other rentals we have used that listed local restaurants, grocery stores, activities and expectations like if we were to wash towels, sheets, which garbage bins are for recycling. Would have loved some containers for leftovers too.
Overall we were still very happy with the house. The pool and hot tub were great. It was also nice having the pool table, ping pong table & cornhole.

Overall our group had a good experience (5 couples).
The positives: This house is close to Cottonwood, and a quick 30 min drive to Sedona. It's definitely not a brand new house, but you get what you expect for the price. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, etc to cook meals for a group. I consider myself to have high standards when it comes to cleaning, and this house was very clean when we arrived. Owner was quick to respond before our arrival, and helpful with answering the handful of questions I had.
Now for the negatives... the hot tub is only heated for 4 hours each night (6pm-10pm). The listing states that it can be heated for longer, or that the pool can be heated for an additional cost, which I was told by the owner is $595 for a week. The last night of our stay, the hot tub never turned on. I messaged the owner, but never got a response. (it's now been 3 days and no response). There is a very large bunk room in the basement which would be great for kids! We did not have any kids with us, so we did not use that room, but noticed a strong smell coming from it. The smell ended up being milk that had been left in the mini fridge that was not cold - not sure how long it had been in there, but again, no response from the owner when I let him know so he could address the issue with the cleaning crew.

This house works really well for large groups. We were only 8 but could have had a lot more and still been very comfortable here. Pool and hot tub were a nice addition. The views were gorgeous. Short trip to Sedona but lots of fun right in Cottonwood. Make sure to take a trip up to Jerome too. Fun little mountain town with lots of charm. House is very well equipped for anything you need.

We are a family of 13 varying in age from 7 to 74 and Joe's place had something for all of us, from sitting on the deck and watching gorgeous sunrises and sunsets to a pool and hot tub, pool table and kid friendly bunk house. We couldn't have been more pleased. with the accommodations and access to all the Cottonwood/Sedona attractions. And the sleeping was wonderful with the most comfortable mattresses on all beds.

What a wonderful place to stay to celebrate our 50th Anniversay with our children & grandchildren for a total of 18! The home was spacious with comfortable beds & a large kitchen for making meals. Loved the beautiful pool & hot tub, ping pong, pool table & cornhole. Sat out on the 60 ft porch & watched the sunrise! We used the grill on the porch & sat around the outside tables & enjoyed the beautiful views! Went to the Grand Canyon & Uptown Sedona shopping & Crescent Moon where we got professional family pictures taken. The kids loved Slide Rock & Out of Africa Wildlife Refuge. We definitely would recommend staying at the spacious 7 J Ranch & the bunkroom was perfect for the kids!

Frustrating stay
We rented this house to enjoy the amenities. We arrived at 5:20 and the cleaning crew was still there. They left promptly but left several areas of the house DIRTY. We had requested in advance to have the hot tub available for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple in the evening and Joe agreed. The pool and hot tub were filthy. We checked in on a Thurs. night and it was Sat afternoon before a pool crew arrived to clean it up. That was after we called VRBO to complain because Joe was unresponsive. He said on Friday morning that the pool company was on their way and quit responding by Fri afternoon. The house has a LOT of maintenance issues, some very concerning. It does have Excellent views and potential but needs immediate attention.
