The property, amenities, and communication were outstanding.

Perfect stay for a month! Martin was an amazing host and communication was great. Everything was clean, well stocked and comfortable. Truly a very nice condo with all the conveniences of home. The towels - bath and beach were nice quality. Loved the king size cozy bed. Wifi was excellent and dependable. We lost power a few times but it always came back quickly. Washer and dryer were a bonus. The complex is absolutely beautiful and as secure and safe as you can get. Balcones staff were always kind and extremely helpful. We ordered water and ice from reception - so convenient. Porto and El Mosquito were amazing restaurants/bar. The beaches and water -WOW-beautiful!! We rented a quad in town from Jessie Car Rental which worked out perfect to go into Las Terrenas for dinners on the beach and groceries. We were so sad to leave! Thank you, Martin!

We had a great time in Las Terrenas. The unit was spacious with nice decor, clean, and on the first floor:) The kitchen was complete with all necessities. Very comfortable bed! The location of this unit is wonderful; right across from a beautiful beach and a wonderful restaurant (Porto). The setting of the restaurant is worth a million! The location is a bit less populated as compared to Playa Bonita (a few km's away). But we were looking for a quiet place so this was perfect!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Martin's apt and would very highly recommend this place. It offers great close proximity to town, yet away from any hustle and bustle of other beaches for a more quiet option at the 2 minute walk to this beach. The beachside restaurant is also a great place to eat - very reasonable and outstanding seafood! Martin was great in communication and the staff there was also tremendous - can't beat it! We loved this one bedroom condo and plan to come back! Its cozy and nicely decorated. Nearest to beach area and has a jacuzzi. All was clean and tidy.

We stayed for 3 nights in this condo after a longer stay in close by Playa Bonita. The owner, Martin, was a pleasure to work with and he was very attentive before and during the stay. This is a comfortable one bedroom condo with a lovely patio and hot tub. It is walking distance to the beach and has a great pool right out the door. The kitchen is well stocked, although we chose to eat most meals out. We loved the local activities and the area. We were a family of 4 and used the sofabed as well as the bedroom. There is plenty of security at the property and we had a rental car to get around the area. Thanks martin for hosting us!

We had a wonderful month in Martins apartment. What a beautiful property, so close to the beach. The Porto restaurant on the beach has great food and drinks. It is a very quiet and relaxing resort.

Everything was great except that the staff continuously met in an area right next to the aprtment patio and were constanly overlooking which felt a bit like invading our privacy

We love our stayed, owner was always available. The apartment is cozy, perfect for a couple and kids. Everything worked just perfect. Balcones del atlántico has their own beach though is public it is quite, not vendors, lots of chairs, playground for kids, Porto restaurant a great place to have a lunch, dinner or snacks... Affordable prices. I will come back again!

This is a beautiful ground floor rental on a very nice piece of property. The pool is right outside, and the place is second to none Great private beach, lots of ameneities. We had a great time, and loved staying at Martin‘s place. His rates are very competitive and if you don’t mind being a little drive out of town this place is paridise found. A couple issues popped up, one being a broken hot tub heater, but Martin was very responsive and helped us get them fixed quickly. We can recommend this place as a great option in Las Terrenas. Make sure you turn off the AC upon checkout.

Perfekt for relaxing and enjoy beautiful beaches. Fantastic place to stay and explore Samana or just stay by the pool and beachclub.

Property is very clean, very well kept. I will definitely use it again. The door nob that goes from the bedroom to the bathroom needs to be fixed, other than that it was a great stay..

Great property, complex and location... the best of the best @ Las Terrenas! We would defitively go back to this place.

I booked this property to extend a work vacation in Punta Cana....than later realized that to get to this property it was a 4 hr car drive from Punta Cana. Although a little apprehensive about the drive, we were glad we did it. The drive thru the mountains was spectacular and to see the country the way we did was awesome. The property itself is top notch. Great space for a week of relaxation. The condo itself was very nice and well kept. High end decor and construction. Comfy bed and furniture and very well supplied with everything needed to survive the week. We spent $100 for food for the week and ate like kings. The pool area and the grounds are meticulously cared for by the staff. The beach area across the street is designated for the guests of the condos and you basically have a private beach area all to yourself with plenty of chairs to lounge on for free! We couldn't believe the absence of people where we were at. Every day we pretty much had the pool or beach to ourselves. If you are looking for a quiet and secluded area to vacation in the Dominican, do it here. If you don't wanna drive the 4 hours, fly into the airport closer to the area, a little more expensive I think but worth saving the time of the drive.

Very nice apartment. Well equipped. in a very clean and luxury complex. Spending time at the jacuzzi is very relaxing and the beach is clear and beautiful. Tons of places where to go around. Great morning beach walking and beautiful sunset at Mosquito Bar. We enjoyed eating at Porto, Los pescadores Town and Don Luis. Terranas is such a beautiful and charming town and spending the time on this apartment makes everything perfect. We love Terrenas and Balcones del Atlantico is our happy place.

Balcones Del Atlantico is a great spot to vacation. The grounds are manicured to perfection. They have 3 huge pools that are hardly used and kept in pristine condition. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The beach is picture perfect and great for snorkelling. The condo was great. The owner responded to our concerns promptly. The only downfall for long term rental is the lack of laundry facility. I would highly recommend this complex.

We got to Las Terrenas the night before we checked into Balcones del Atlantico. We made the mistake of not letting our family check out a place we had booked and paid $1500(Cotrorra Azul owner by Loren Bennink) for a place hookers were using. That night we contacted Martin and he was very helpful and we were able to get checked in the next day to this wonderful place. We didn't get refunded by the other place but it didn't matter as long as my family was able to relax. Thanks for the wonderful experience.
