Huge beautiful home. You need for nothing because everything is already on property. We caught 5 fish, went kayaking, and took out the paddle boat. We had 3 bald eagle sightings, a blue harron, and watched hawks dive for fish. It's a great set up for multiple families to share. Also, the Long Wings at the other side of the lake has great fish tacos. Wonderful hosts. We will be back for sure.

This home is a choice location on Rainbow Lake with a fabulous view and peaceful setting. It is so spacious and is such an ideal set up for a family vacation - and the best we've found in the Pine-top-Lakeside area. It allowed everyone their own room and bathroom, with a large dining table for meals and games. Our grandkids loved having their own large playroom space. The boating options were great, as well as all the outdoor spaces to enjoy. We're so grateful we found out about the Bald Eagle Retreat, and we would be blessed to visit it again in the future.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin! The property manager was very helpful and nice. The cabin was perfect sitting right on the shore of Rainbow Lake. The kayaks were extremely convenient, and the kids loved using them. Super clean cabin. Really enjoyed the early mornings sitting on the back deck, facing the lake sipping on some coffee. We will definitely be back to Bald Eagle retreat cabin!

A great place for a family vacation and escape! The kids and adults had a wonderful time fishing, paddleboating, playing tennis, pickleball, going on the lake with the kayak and canoe and using the pool and ping pong tables inside. The views are amazing and the house was perfect to fit our extended family. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely book this beautiful home again! Great amenities!

This is a beautiful 5 bedroom log cabin on a canal at Rainbow Lake in Pinetop Arizona. It has a dock for fishing and kayaking. It’s in a lovely gated community that has a tennis/pickle ball court, ramada, boat ramp and large dock. One bedroom has 3 double bunk beds with trundles, a pool/pingpong table. Our family and friends loved staying there.

We had 4 families come together for a much overdue family vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was close to town so we could quickly run to the store but still felt so peaceful. My family stated over and over what a great find it was. Hope to return again in the near future. Highly recommend!

My family and I had a great time. The views are spectacular and the lake/doc access straight from the house was the perfect set up for my boys who love fishing while some of us retreated to the oversized patio. The kitchen was awesome to use as well and perfect for a big group or family. There are a few TLC things needed to make this place absolutely perfect. Mainly around the wear and tear on the leather couch. My family placed blankets over the torn/worn fabric so as not to further damage the sofa. We wished there was a better/more convenient way to store our dry food. The pantry was locked and there wasn't a lot of empty space to place our dry food. Of course, this is not a deal breaker at all, just a good to know. Otherwise we had an absolute blast. Thank you for opening your family home to our family.

We had another great week at your beautiful cabin. Everything was perfect as usual. Almost everyone caught fish this time and it was nice to see the lake level up so much. The snow was just a plus!

We just returned from a three night stay and loved it! Amy, the property host, was wonderful and was available for questions when we needed her. The cabin is huge. Perfect for a couple families. We had 6 children under 10 in our group and they enjoyed all of the amenities as well. Beautiful home, perfect location. We will be back!

The cabin and grounds are immaculately clean and well kept. The gathering spaces were more than adequate for our family of 8 adults and 3 children. We had space to be together but there was also a lot of space for a little time on your own but still nearby.
Each room is a master bedroom with plenty of space to relax and beautiful spacious and private full bathrooms in each room.
The master bedroom downstairs with its king bed is massive. The adjoining bathroom is lovely with its shower and jetted tub. The walk in closet has plenty of hanging space and drawers for a nice long stay.
The three bedrooms on the second floor also are beautiful, each containing a great amount of storage, a queen size bed, and as previously stated a bathroom with a shower (one has a bathtub/shower combo).
The second floor also contains the loft room. This is a great place for children. Our three granddaughters enjoyed this room each claiming her own bunk bed. The loft is a massive bedroom/playroom. Many hours were spent playing pretend and watching the occasional movie on the tv. The loft room also has a half bath.
We loved the well equipped kitchen. It was truly a joy to cook in and the breakfast bar was large enough to serve from. We also served from the island.
The backyard and the lake were beautiful. The lake on our visit was extremely low (prayers for sending some rain to the high country). The adults and children still enjoyed a little fishing and all enjoyed the unbelievable sunsets. The squirrels and geese provided regular entertainment.
Everyone in our group loved the cabin and its surroundings. Although we were in a neighborhood, most of the time we felt like we had the area around the cabin and the lake to ourselves. Truly a beautiful place to spend time with family and relax.

Had a really great experience! Finding the cabin and getting in was super easy. Very clean and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time by the lake. Every bedroom has its own private bath which is a nice touch. If I had one complaint it was that the pool table in the photos was not full size and not really in good enough shape to use. But that is a small complaint in an otherwise great stay! Would definitely stay again.

I picked this property in part of the other reviews and they were absolutely correct. The house is amazing in both it's setup, layout, and location. The versatility of having bathrooms in every room makes it a perfect facility for friends and family. Seeing all the family pictures around the home makes you feel like you are staying at home and not a rental property. We all loved the experience. Having coffee out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching the geese drama unfold was a memory we will keep with us for a long time.

This is a beautiful, modern cabin that has a rustic theme. Because it’s on a lake we were able to use the included ”toys”such as kayaks, a paddle boat and a canoe. The upstairs bunk room included DVDs and many toys for the younger members of our family. There were opportunities for each of us to enjoy our stay from playing on the lake to relaxing on the large porch or in the beautiful family room with a fireplace. We thoroughly appreciated this time for our family.

We had the perfect Thanksgiving here. Beautiful and roomy with beautiful sunsets over the lake every night. Loved being able to park 3 cars in the garage and the kitchen had everything necessary to put together our Thanksgiving feast. One really nice thing was the laundry/computer/ mud room that worked out perfectly for our son who had to work via the internet for a few of the days we were there. He was able to be out of the way with good internet access and quiet. Not what you go on vacation for but this made it so much easier for him to be with us. We look forward to going back sometime.

What a magical trip we had. Did an early family Thanksgiving and we had a beautiful trip. When I walked into this home we all felt immediately comfortable and felt so calm and you can tell this home has hosted many many wonderful family moments. Owners were easy to get ahold of and the home had absolutely everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet just a great environment. Loved sitting on the back patio watching my husband and kids fishing, kyavking and grand baby running around being the helper....we will be back. Thank you

The property had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. We had 11 family members, and there was plenty of room for all. We really enjoyed the lake, and for some of us, it was the first time in a kayak. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

This cabin is gorgeous with plenty of rooms and beds and is well stocked with everything you need. You can take the kayaks or paddle boat out. Fish right on the dock, take the bikes for a ride or sit and relax, enjoy a book or soak in the backyard view of the lake. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a great time with family or friends.
