It was an amazing home with great views. There was a lot of room to accommodate us. The kids found lots to do even when it rained all day. Locating the property was a bit difficult but when contacting the owner he was able to give more specific directions.

This property worked well for our family, but we were under the impression there would be access to the lake.

Our family got together for a long weekend. We had a great time and the house is super close to the lake. Very clean. There was no WiFi if you are looking for that. Nice place for a family gathering.

We enjoyed out stay at this beautiful lakehouse very much. Our kids (3 and 5) didn't want to leave. Beautiful views to enjoy breakfast and dinner to. We spent most of our days on the lake. The property was spacious enough to accommodate the boat and a few cars. We sat around the firepit with the kids and enjoyed s'mores and "ghost" stories. Beautiful place to create memories with our kids. Highly recommend and we will go back!

Our family rented this cabin for a weekend at the lake with family. The cabin is very nice, plenty of room, has everything you need. Great view. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again in the future.

This is an absolutely wonderful property. It is a beautiful setting, the cabin is wonderfully outfitted, and it has a spectacular view of the lake. The property far exceeded our expectations. The hosts were great to work with. We highly recommend this property. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Very nice home with plenty of room for our 7 adults and 3 children traveling from 3 different states. Kitchen has everything anyone would need. Master suite was super nice and private. Only 2 bedrooms but plenty of sleeping options through out the home. Outside fire pit and tire swing were well used. Walk to the water was over grown and the unfortunate mudslide next door, though scary looking, made for picture opportunities and conversations. Would recommend a stay at this rental

We rented this lovely lake house for 4 nights during our first trip to Lewis and Clark lake! Two of our sons and their wives, our daughter, and our 2 year old grandson went with us. We had a wonderful time! Scott, the owner, was very helpful and kind. He answered all of our questions and was always prompt and courteous. The house is fully stocked (including the kitchen) with great helpful items to make your stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed spending relaxing time together doing low-key things, such as taking walks, having campfires in the fire-pit (complete with S'mores), and stargazing in the clear night sky. Crofton is just a few miles away, and we visited Yankton several times. There are lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities there; including a Hy-Vee grocery store and, of course, Wal-Mart. Our family enjoyed a day at the Lewis and Clark State Recreation area on the SD side of the lake, where we found a swimming beach in the sun, with nearby picnic tables in the shade. One suggestion! Get good directions, when you go, because some of the Maps applications we used weren't clear about where the house was. It helps to know that the street you turn on to from the main road is called "Elkhorn". After that, it's easier to find. Thanks again for letting us stay in your lovely home. Beautiful home with an unbeatable view. Off the beaten path enough to feel private but close to the action. Very happy with the stay.

This was our 2nd year staying at this house. New owners but same great home and care! The house is fully equipped with all the necessities as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We were able to make Chili on our cool fall day with all the necessary utensils! The owners were wonderful to work with and very receptive and helpful with all our questions. There is no wireless internet or cable on the TV (this may be a benefit for some :). Although some channels do come in through the antenna TV we brought one of our CHROMCAST (APPLE TV would work too) and used our cell phone as a Hot Spot so we could watch the NE football game. This was a mild inconvenience but really only during Football season :) I believe the owner mentioned he was going to purchase an APPLE TV for the cabin as well. Overall great cabin and experience! Beautiful spacious home and so comfortable! Everything we needed and the children were so happy with the toys and games ,movies and music available to use ! We were very happy my only wish was a clear trail to walk to the lake but a landslide made it not accessible yet all in all a great home and very nice owners !

We recently visited the cabin with 2 other family friends of ours (6 adults and 5 kids under 3). The house was magnificent! It fit all of us comfortably and the view is unbeatable. The cabin was thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. It had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of clean towels and blankets. There was even a nice flat screen for us to watch football all weekend. It is an antenna TV (but main channels come in great). There is an APPLE TV there so we used our cell phones for hotspots when needed (i.e. ESPN). There's an awesome BOSE sound bar as well. Needless to say, the men were happy. There was a nice open basement for the kids to play and open and functional kitchen for us to cook! We didn't need to leave the site all weekend! Will definitely be back!

We love this cabin!! This is the second year we have rented it for our family, and we would love to come every year. The comfortable house, the lake view, the fire pit, the nearby marina, and the great memories we've made here make it a very special place!

We had a great four days. The property is beautiful. Really can enjoy the outdoors on the patio and the deck. Either marina was easily accessible. Very nice experience!
