The property was beautiful. Multi level decking surrounded by forest like setting with gorgeous rhododendrons all over. Beach access for layed back days. House was a comphy cottage with all the comforts of home. Great location for trips out east to South Fork and North Fork visits. We loved it!

We were really looking forward to this vacation home. Unfortunately it was a sad disappointment. The house was less than ok. It’s old and needs renovation. The television never worked right. There’s only 1 tv in the entire house and it kept turning off on its own. Multiple times. The first 2 days we only had access to 9 or 10 channels. The host came in (after I texted her) and showed us more channels. The tv is old. Doesn’t work right. The master bedroom had spiders. The last 2 nights I slept on the couch. A moth landed on me while sleeping and scared me awake. We had dragon flies and moths in the master bedroom. There were black ants in the house. I advised the host and she gave us ant traps. I chose not to put them down as they are poisonous to dogs. We had our dogs with us. We complied with the host to have our dogs relieve themselves in the woods. There were cobwebs in the home which I cleaned up. I cleaned the freezer, some plates, and the utensil drawer, (which was filthy) which had remnants of food on them. The outside light needs replacement. Our entrance was through the back door. At night, it’s very dark outside. Getting in and out of the driveway was tricky. Overgrown trees and bushes on the left side, and trees on the right side. Our van scraped two times on the left by the bushes. There’s not much room to get in and out of the driveway. There’s no lighting in the driveway. It was very very dark at night. There were broken planks on the deck. We would not return.

Great location, nice quiet neighborhood, will return!

We loved our little escape to Bellport, and Beth was so helpful with suggestions of local beaches and activities. Our children really appreciated the toys left in the house. While the home is becoming worn in some places, overall it is in good shape and very comfortable. We spent most of our time exploring the surrounding area rather than in the house. On our visit, the private beach was not in great shape but it was immediately after hurricane Ida. The immediate neighborhood is very quiet, and access to Bellport and Patchogue is quick and easy. I would definitely return to this property.

Close to bellport, quiet street, pet friendly is a plus. Home owner was communicative.

We had a great time here. It’s nice and accessible to the town and it’s easy to get to fire island ferries. The outdoor space is great and so is the little private beach.

Beth is very responsive and we enjoyed our stay there.

A beautiful house in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. It had everything we needed and then some. Beth couldn't have been more helpful with any needs or recommendations. We would happily rent this property again.
