Great facilities, really clean and the onsen were really great after a long day in the city. For us the location was great since we needed to go to the Dolphins Arena for the Sumo match, however the hotel was a little walk from the center.

The Hotel is located close to the Nagoya Castle and just 10 min walk from the very popular Sakae area with the MIRAI Tower. The breakfast was very reasonable. The bath room is equipped with a very modern Japanese washlet.

It would be nice if the breakfast would include two drinks with complimentary refill.

Room was a little bit hot at first, but it became really comfortable when the air conditioner had cooled the it.

Let's start with the framework. The location is really nice, in the center of a major part of Nagoya city. There's a small park right in front of the hotel with convenience stores and an underground shopping mall close by. The room is a decent size, two beds plus enough space to move around, the bathtub not too small. There's a really nice public bath on the 12th floor for taking a longer soak to relax. The staff also speaks good English.

While we had included breakfast, there is 4 similar sandwiches with some side dishes to choose from. Both the service and the taste are alright. We stayed here for 5 days and upon our arrival had the decision thrust upon us to choose breakfast for every single day in advance on the spot. The top floor also has a single microwave, I'd love at least a second one considering there's 10 floors with 11 rooms each. Luckily we never had to fight over the usage. But what absolutely ruined my day: next to the microwave are 4 identical washing machines with built-in dryers. We washed our clothes and put them in to dry as well. One hour. The clothes were just as wet as before, just very warm. We split it into two machines. 30 minutes later, same result. We had to hang the wet clothes in the bathroom to dry. Luckily I brought enough string to make an impromptu clothesline. And the final nail in the coffin: We came to this hotel in 2019 for one night and since it seemed really nice, I wanted to give it more time this year. The price in 3 years quadrupled. I don't know what happened, but 620€ for 5 nights was a far cry from 2019s 65€ for one night.
