The owners of the property were very helpful. The accommodation is close to the beach with a great view.

The location is amazing! Away enough from busy roads but still close to the beach, restaurant and a supermarket. We especially loved the views both in the morning when the greenery and the tiny fishing boats out at sea can be appreciated. The twinkling lights of the towns close by were another lovely scene in the evening

view , village was a true Italian experience. , mostly comfortable. kitchen was fully loaded with necessary items. owner was very helpful when we arrived. Left us a nice gift of local cookies. Locked gate for security and parking .

Shower needed a better cleaning . very steep road to get to unit. definitely needed a small car to get into location.

Very helpful owner. Francesco provided us with all required information already before the arrival. He actually warned us about tough public transportation and suggested renting a car, but as we were a bit terrified reading everywhere how Sicilians are driving we decided to leave this idea and use buses or trains. There are only few buses daily to the city centre and by foot this is few kilometres (actually climbing as Acireale is located on the hill). We tried once to go down from the city centre and do not recommend as it is very dangerous due to very narrow streets and no pedestrian walkway. We mostly used taxi to the train station (15€ during the day and 20 in the evening). By rail the connection to Taormina or Siracusa is very convenient and low budget (6-9€). Same about travelling to/from Catania, even from the airport (3-4€). When it comes to the house - seems to be typical Sicilian location. Kitchen well equipped, A/C in both bedrooms, cool terrace! We had two sunbeds, garden umbrella and garden table with chairs. And the lemon garden…We could eat as much as we can. They were really, really tasty. Never tasted such good ones ever before. All in all, we had a great experience over there, but are a bit disappointed on the location.
