Typical German style. Large room with a small kitchen. Very quiet surroundings in the countryside. Nice breakfast.

Due to Covid restrictions, the kitchen was closed in the evening.

Very friendly owners, nice reception, easygoing. I got the room on the ground floor, with separate access from the outside, to facilitate the stay with the dog. Room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast is served in a big eating area, very good choice of serving, everything fresh and tasty.

There is really poor, to non existent mobile reception at the place, also no WiFi, so be prepared for the disconnected stay, but with choice of German tv channels.

Sheep grazing on the hillside out our window, excellent breakfast of locally produced items, nice shower.

A little hard to find, minimal staff presence

very nice place in a quiet neighborhood ! the owner is very nice and looks after your well being ! the beds were amazingly confortable and we slept like babies ! there’s a bar on the spot and a nice bier garden but no restaurant.

Really nice and friendly reception from the owner upon our late arrival. Situated in a beautiful countryside. Great for biking.

Location at the end of a quit street in a small village outside Bad Hersfeld, yet convenient to main town and sights. Staff super friendly, bed and comforter very cozy, overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

All was good for us.
